New Card

After updating to new card App will verify card . Error: Sorry unable to process request at this time. Try again later. Also, have to keep changing as saved password not accepted.

NIGHTMARE TO SET UP

Can not get my card stored in the app without having to call customer service. Customer service has been overwhelmed with calls for months so it takes half and hour just to get to speak with someone. If I’m able to link my entire checking account to the app, why can I not link the card associated with it? Extremely inconvenient, Grow needs to look into this flaw on this app because I shouldn’t have to spend so much of my time having to call to link the debit card associated with my checking account. What’s the point of a convenient app in that case?

App does no work

This app does not work does not give me any options how I want to receive my alerts and will not allow me to enter mobile number

I like to be alerted when card is used.

I have it three stars because sometimes the app doesn’t work. If it worked all the time I would give it five stars. I am editing this now as the app has been working fine. Being alerted when the card was used has helped catching someone using my card a couple of times.

App

This app does not allow you to pay your balance. It does not tell you that your payment is due. It only shows transactions. Very limited. I feel like we are stuck in the 90s you guys can do better than this. You are a great bank. I have thoroughly enjoyed your services. You can compete with the best of them. Your branches and customer care services are spot on. I have never had a bad dealing with anyone. Everyone is courteous. Your app lacks a lot. I have to log in on my computer to pay my bill. Every other bank has it all on the app. I can even talk to Erica ( Bank of America) to get simple items. Capital One has a great one as well. Just make it easier for the client. These are tough times and making it easier and less frustrating for the client would be great. Thanks

If you'd like the full mobile banking app experience, we have another app you can download from the App Store. It's Grow Mobile Banking and will be identifiable by the dark green G icon. This app will offer the full range of mobile banking services it sounds like you are looking for. The Grow Card Manager app is designed to be a supplement to our mobile banking app with features like turning off your debit card and setting up real-time alerts.

I can’t set notifications, and if it will finally let me set them, it doesn’t ever send the notification

Transactions

I find it useful to see how much I have but it doesn’t show my transactions. I got the alert but when I went to the app to see how much money I have, it doesn’t show that none was taken away. I’m confused as if this is a glitch but it’s really bothering me for some reason lol. It still shows that I have the same amount as I had before spending, which is really bugging me.

Add Card bug

PLEASE fix the issue others have described with the “Add Card” button at sign-up. Online support keeps telling me there’s not an issue, but clearly there still is.

Good and bad

I like the transaction alerts, the immediate control of my card and the clean interface but adding a card was extremely annoying (iPhone 6s).

The only way I was able to see the “add card” button:
1. Do not touch any fields
2. Click the add card button
3. All of the fields will of course fail validation and you will see the red required messages
4. Fill out the required fields now
5. The add card button is still available

I do not know why it worked for me but I thought I’d share for others to attempt and actually be able to use the app. Hope this gets resolved.

Even better would be if the grow app had these feature rather than separate apps.

I can’t add my card. The keyboard covers up the “Add Card” button. This is terrible!

Add Account Button Hidden

When I add my card information the “Add Account” button is covered up by keyboard. Other reviews show this is happening to others. Please fix. I would love to use this app.
Turned phone off and on. This helped with the problem long enough for me to add a card.

Never will use again

I used the “lock” feature on this app to temporarily block my card usage and was unable to unlock it! I uninstalled the app, called corporate and tech support but no one knew what happened. Had to drive 45 minutes to a branch that printed cards to get a new one. Doesn’t matter how advanced this app gets, I refuse to use it again.
