GREAT for the classroom!
I use Grow Games regularly for our Student group on Wednesday nights at church. I love the icebreaker randomizer and the amount of no-prep games that are available. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking for fun, ever growing options for classroom interaction!

Why???
I loved this app for so long, and now it doesn’t work anymore. They send you to their website and want you to pay $10 per game. That’s trash.
One of the best resources
This was my go-to resource for years as a youth pastor. I also utilized it a lot as a substitute teacher at our local schools. The ice-breakers and tools have been a life saver so many times! Please bring it back, Grow!
No longer useable app…
Unfortunately, the Grow Games app is no longer useable. It now says it has been moved to the Grow Marketplace, where all games cost around $10 each if you don’t have a subscription. This used to be a huge resource for my Youth Ministry as we don’t have a very large youth budget as a small church. Very disappointed in this change.

Sad to see the change of access
This was a great app!! I loved the icebreaker questions and game ideas. However, I’m not able to get access to it without making a subscription or buying the games. Probably will just use Google to search icebreaker questions and games now.

No longer functional
WAS a really great app for several years. Loved the built-in icebreakers, some of the tools like the scoreboard and random name picker, and having free access to over 500 games for use in student or kids ministry. New games weren’t added all that often, but really appreciated that they offered the app and web versions as free resources to churches and youth leaders/volunteers.
Unfortunately, without any email announcement or notification, now when you open the app, it is unusable and says Grow Games has “moved” to their marketplace, and when you go there, without a subscription to their curriculum, all the games are around $10/each which is even more expensive than similar games you could find with similar organizations (such as YM360 or DYM). And the tools and icebreakers from the app are gone too. Really disappointed with this move.

Perfect addition to youth group games!
The games are great and are definitely helpful, and I love the category listings for the games, such as “no tech” and “all play.” My favorite part of the app is the tools section! The scoreboard, finger chooser, stopwatch, random wheel, etc are all so helpful. Makes it quick and easy to set up for our pre-service game time each week.

Helpful App!
I’ve just downloaded the app and have already found several games that will work for our small youth group. Directions for games are clear and easy to understand. There’s an icebreaker section that I love. So simple and easy to use.
Incredible Resource
As a new youth pastor and a former youth group student, fun games quickly become repetitive and boring when played often. I didn’t realize how challenging it could be to find new and unique games for my students each week. This app is an incredible resource with games that fit any youth group size and style. I can’t wait to continue to try out new games each week, and I’m sure my students will be very grateful that we won’t be playing the same old redundant games anymore!

Super helpful tool
Love all of the game suggestions and ease of use of the app. Has lots of application for large and small group icebreakers to field games. The “Tools” section has huge applications with just a little creativity. I highly recommend to anyone in children’s ministry, youth ministry or really anyone who works with students.
