Groww is the most pathetic app I’ve ever used. Their customer service is non-existent, their system glitches every now and then, and they randomly charge unfair late fees even when the fault is on their own app.
The support team is slow, clueless, and absolutely useless. They don’t solve issues, they only give copy-paste replies.
This platform behaves like thieves — taking money without proper justification and then refusing to listen to customers.
I strongly recommend NEVER trusting this app with your money. If you value your hard-earned money and peace of mind, stay far away from Groww.

My mutual funds have still not been unpledged despite repeated complaints, multiple warnings, and more than a month of waiting. As a result, I have been denied access to my own money when I needed it the most.
The most disappointing part is Groww's grievance redressal system. Every email receives the same generic response, but the issue never gets resolved. There is no ownership, no accountability, and no urgency—even when customers may be facing medical or financial emergencies.
This experience has completely eroded my trust. I will be withdrawing all my investments from Groww once this issue is finally resolved.

Devastating/fraud kind of loan
The cs agents are roadside junkies,Make sure you don’t have any offer from other lenders and you need at any extent only than you should consider taking loan here coz this loan will certainly ruin you throughout the tenure charging uneven amount if you get late for a minute/hour and processing as well as roi is also a kind of curse which they charge the entire heavy interest within few months of the tenure….

Repayment error
Worst customer service experience. There is no IVR option to connect with the team handling mutual fund repayment. When I contacted customer care, I was assured that my call would be transferred to the concerned department, but instead it was routed to the feedback option.
I want to repay my loan, but only the interest amount is being debited while the principal amount remains unpaid. Despite multiple attempts, I have not been able to reach the appropriate team for assistance. Kindly resolve this issue at the earliest.

Misleading Loan Offer and Zero Customer Support
My experience with Groww Credit’s loan support has been extremely poor. Despite receiving a loan offer, none of my queries were answered and the complete lack of response has been highly disappointing. This laid-back approach to customer support raises serious concerns about the credibility of their offers. If customers are not eligible, they should not be sent promotional loan offers that waste their time. Overall, this has been a frustrating and unprofessional experience.

Error on Grow credit app
I am currently facing an issue while attempting to check the loan eligibility/status on my mutual fund holdings. The system is showing an error and not allowing me to proceed further.
Additionally, I am unable to raise a support ticket through the portal, as that option is also not functioning properly.

I have need to unpledge my gold mutual funds but neither is the app working to log tickets, neither is Groww Support Team responding to my emails. This app has been a blessing to me at difficult times, but its very disappointing to see the bug on app and Groww Support Team’s unresponsive behaviour.
App never updates EMI on time
The amount gets debited on due date but the app shows it to be overdue and updates a day later. Always have to send them an email to not cause this inconvenience and leave a bad late payment mark in credit score. They make it an even more lengthy process to withdraw available credit by taking forever to update. The TECH TEAM

Fraudulent app. It’s a scam!!!
I have repaid all the loan amount taken against mutual funds. It’s been more than a week. I have been trying to unpledge my mutual funds by raising a ticket. But it’s not working since a week a now. It is so frustrating. I’m not able unpledge the funds. It’s time to go to consumer court it seems. There’s no way to contact them expect this useless raise a ticket option which doesn’t work at all.

My emi has been debited from my bank account on 5th September as usual. But it is showing overdue on groww credit app. It is not allowing any options on this app. This is very frustrating as a consumer. The bank should take responsibility to share things transparently and conveniently. How any individual trust you on longer run as this may ruin your civil scores.

I really appreciate the free credit score and detailed reports—they help me stay on top of my credit health. Worst Experience Ever
This is the worst app I’ve ever used. Even after making payments, there was no update on the transaction. Emails and phone calls go unanswered, and the payment never shows up. Despite paying the interest, it falsely showed as unpaid, which cost me 50 CIBIL points and left a permanent record of non-payment on my credit report. Completely unreliable and irresponsible service.

₹5,200 processing fee
Please stay away from this app, they asked me ₹5200 as just fees to get the loan. Once I decided not to take the loan, I had no option but had to pay this ₹5,200 to even unpledge my mutual funds. Very manipulative as users are not clearly showed the required fees beforehand. Only once the mutual funds are pledged they start charging hidden fees.
Stay away. They don’t even have option in the app to unpledge the mutual funds, we need to raise a ticket through the app, a feature which doesn’t seem to work at all.

I won’t recommend to take loan from Groww Credit
Recently I tried to take loan from Groww credit, I had to follow all the steps like providing bank account statement, KYC verification and at last they also did a video KYC where they did a retina scan as well. After all these the app gave me a message that you are not eligible. If I was not eligible then what was the reason behind video KYC. Anyone can say if a person is eligible for loan by seeing credit score what is the need of video KYC and retina scan. Groww credit is forcing me to believe that it is simply acquiring people’s data to sell them somewhere. Today they bound me think that Groww credit is a fraud. App. Just answer one question, if someone is not eligible then why scan their face and retina?

I have applied for loan against mutual funds. I encountered technical issues after continuous follow ups they cleared the issue after a week then I applied again and at line creation due to some error it took too long so I again raised a complaint instead solving the issue they rejected the application and they quoted that the reason is KYC mismatch of the name in Groww and bank account . I find it too silly because every letter is same on my every document. NO PROPER RESPONSE after two weeks they rejected with a reason that never existed.
