Terrible app hard to use
Response from developer
Hello Hagnsnsgnw, Update: As I replied to you in July and promised to make this better - Since version 2.1, every lesson starts with "Neui Wörter" cards that introduce each new word with its meaning and a real example sentence before any quiz begins. And the first time you're asked about a new word, you can tap "Zeig mer's" to simply see the answer. Your review genuinely shaped this update, and I'm grateful for it. If you're willing to give Grüezi another try, I'd love to hear what you think. Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. First of all, I’m truly sorry that your first experience wasn’t what you expected. Please give me a chance to explain something important about how Grüezi is designed. Swiss German (Schwiizerdütsch) is a spoken language, not a written one, there is no official script or standardized grammar like in Standard German. That’s why Grüezi teaches through active practice: quizzes, dialogues, and real-life scenarios instead of textbook-style lessons. This mirrors how Swiss people actually learn and use the language every day. But you're right that a word should be taught before it's tested, and making that clearer is on me. I’d love the chance to show you what Grüezi can do or if you have any suggestions please feel free to reach out at welcome@kk-studio.ch. If you'd tell me where you got stuck, I'd genuinely appreciate it. Herzliche Grüsse aus der Schweiz
