Good Battery Performance
I installed this app on my Pixel 3 and, although I heard about battery drain issues, I haven’t encountered them. I turn off Bluetooth after syncing to save battery, and it works well.
Great for showcasing sponsors!
We used Grupio’s sponsor pages and customizable ads to highlight our event partners, and they loved it. The takeover ads were especially effective. It helped us bring in some extra revenue while giving sponsors the exposure they were looking for.

Great experience
I used this app recently for a conference and it was super helpful. The schedule and updates made stuff easy to organize without worrying about papers or emails. Plus, I could interact with my other attendees at the conference which made the event much easier to navigate. I’d recommend.

Members loved using Grupio
This was our first experience using Grupio for our conference. About half of the attendees downloaded the app. I heard nothing but positive comments about it from those who did. A few without smartphones actually used the mobile app on their laptops. Fortunately the app was relatively stable during the conference. It still needs a little work to keep it from locking up causing you to delete and reload the app.
Overall it was worth the investment to set up and create the content. I wish there was an easier way to convert our block schedule that we use for the printed program to the template that Grupio requires. It was a lot of work to create nearly 400 session entries.
We will definitely use it again for next year’s conference.

This is a sorry excuse for a web based event app. Doesn't work without wifi and has no functional application for an event attendee

Useless APP!!!
Don't waste your time . EMC conference promoted this useless app. Bugs....crashes...waste of time. For Groupio don't Alpha test on public you do not get a second chance to make a first impression.
Poorly executed
A conference I'm attending promoted this app. I installed it and found it useless. Sessions were randomly ordered which put me off right away. I ended up just entering the interesting events from the paper program into my calendar. On my friends iPhone 4s, the app just kept crashing. I have just deleted the app on day 2 of the conference.

Great idea but...
Great idea but keeps crashing (on a 4G). Also when I tap on the plus sign to try to open up a poster track in order to see the posters themselves, it keeps thinking I meant to tap the right arrow and instead opens up the details for the poster track entry (I.e., useless). Very very frustrating!
