Problem needs to be solved
Great app, I like the idea that the system suggest survivors with similar situations. But the system keeps logging me out after a certain period of time, last one occurred 8 hours after I logged in. Again it’s a great app and it’s really helping me out, but please try to solve it in the next update. Thanks

Wonderful Community, Great App
Very cool to connect with people in your same situation. The app works well, good for meetups and things. Their Facebook page tells you when virtual meetups are happening.

This app can provide so much information and connections for those most in need! What a wonderful tool for anyone that is dealing with such a difficult situation. I spoke with founder this week, he is unbelievably passionate about this platform. Him and his team are working hard to do great things for others and the world. What an awesome idea.

Incredible community, incredible company
GRYT is led by Dave Fuehrer, whose GRYT as a two time young adult cancer survivor and authenticity in sharing his story (check out his TEDx talk!) has created a deeply purposeful company. Many GRYT employees are also cancer survivors and thus the purpose and mission of the company is close to their hearts. As GRYT continues to grow, I can’t wait to see what the future holds...both for the important support provided by the community, and the possibilities for cancer research!

Great App Offering a Community of support
This app provides a platform for those with cancer and their family and friends to have a network and community to connect with while walking through cancer. The beauty of this app is that the entire development team and ceo designed this app after battling cancer themselves. Would highly recommend this.

A lifeline at your fingertips
Going through a cancer diagnosis and treatment is scary.
Being able to ask questions to people that have gone through what you have is amazing. Not having to rely on Dr. Google to give me someone’s question and answer from years ago but, instead, to ask any question and get fairly immediate answers.
Also like how the app “matches” you up with others who have the same diagnosis as you. It’s as easy as sending a quick hello and viola - you have someone to share your story with, ask specific questions, etc.

Wonderful resource
Wonderful trusted app that connects cancer patients/survivors across all walks of cancer life as well as those caring for someone with cancer. Great place to find information and share with others who understand what you’re going through.
Bugs
No longer getting notifications for messages. It’s also annoying how the notifications that I used to get didn’t tell me who sent what, it just told me I had a message. A very bare-bones app
Not impressed
Have to reset my password almost every time even with it written down and dated. Every time it updates I get spammed with messages to review.

When I was diagnosed at 23 in 2015, there want much information on the web. Thanks to this app, i can connect with people who have gone through what I’ve gone through. I can give them all the tips and tricks I learned when in chemo and autologous stem cell rescue.

Great app
What a great app! With 2 parents who have. Had cancer it’s great to have a way for them and others like them to connect! I personally know one of the creators of stupid cancer and they have a heart of gold! Truly about helping the planet.
Perfect for cancer survivors!
I love how there is finally an app to connect with individuals that I can relate to! I do wish that in the Discover tab, you would be able to filter what kind of profiles you want to view based on different criteria. Currently, the Discover tab only shows the "people you may like to know" based on what your own profile says. I still think that's great, but I would like to match with other survivors that I wouldn't necessarily "match" up to as well. I also wish there were individual chat rooms based on different subjects and/or cancers and not just one big chat room. Other than those, I find this app very awesome! Thank you StupidCancer!

Goosebumps
Within the first two days of being on this app, I had multiple women reach out to me to let me know that they too had been pregnant and lost the baby because of their own cancer. It’s such a unique grief my husband and I felt from this loss, nestled amongst the fear of a cancer diagnosis. To find out we weren’t alone in this experience sent goosebumps down my arms. Through this app, I’ll do my best to support these women, and all the other friends I’ve been making. I no longer feel alone, and I can tell already that helping others through this app will help heal my own heart too.

Don’t Fight Cancer on Your Own!
When an individual is diagnosed with cancer, it can feel like a path they travel alone. This app aims to change that mindset, connecting individuals dealing with all forms of cancer - as well as their family members and caregivers - with others fighting the same battle.

Friend of the Young Adult Cancer movement
Now, for the first time, the 70,000 young adults (between the ages of 15 and 39) diagnosed with cancer every year, have a place to CONNECT. The Stupid Cancer App is a digital solution to the social isolation the cripples YAC survivors by providing 1:1 peer support - for treatment advice from someone their age or just some frreinship. Every cancer patient and survivor needs this app!
I was diagnosed with Stage IV-A Hodgkin’s Lymphoma 3 years ago and had first line chemo as well as a Bone Marrow Transplant. I was 28 years old and had gotten engaged 3 weeks before my diagnosis. To say the least, I needed support from other young adult cancer patients. THIS APP IS EVERYTHING! It’s very helpful to me now as a survivor and it would have been an equally, if not more, incredible resource when I was going through treatment. If you’re a cancer patient or survivor and you don’t have this app, download it now! It will truly enrich your life! This community is incredible!
