GSOC Inventory

LarsLighting Inventory is a mobile and tablet app for field work. It helps survey teams, installers, and lighting service companies keep track of lighting assets — both outdoor street lighting and lamps inside office buildings. After signing in, you work within projects tied to specific jobs and clients. You can create projects, browse existing ones, and update records while on site. For street lighting, the app lets you register individual lighting points — location on a map, address, pole and fixture details, and links to the power installation (station, control cabinet, circuit). Ready-made templates speed up common setups. You can use GPS, pick a spot on the map, or fill in the address automatically. For office inventory, the app follows the building structure: building → floor → room → lamps. The Resources tab also gives an overview of power stations and office lamps grouped by project. Collected data can be exported to a file and shared further — e.g. by email or another app on your phone. The app uses maps and device location; in some workflows you can attach a photo for documentation. Project access depends on your user account — you only see what you are allowed to. You need an active account, internet connection, and — when registering points on site — permission to use location.
