App no longer works
Tried to connect and just gives errors. I’m guessing app is no longer supported??

Really annoying that the app isn’t working anymore. I would give it a 0 but the software won’t let me.
WORST SETUP
This app is worthless. I downloaded the app, installed on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Pressed the LINK button on my Guardian CDAP5500BCA Purifier. I literally set my phone on top of the purifier with the blue LINK light flashing. Nothing at first, but then I got repeated “looped” “unable to setup, verify device is connected to the internet” error messages. I stopped the app, ran a Speedtest.net test to verify I had connectivity. Solid internet access on my phone. Tried again with same looped error message. Nothing. Zilch. Nada. Uninstalled, reinstalled app with same results. Worthless.

I suggest you remove the app if you are not going to update it because from the looks of it was not updated since since the iPhone 7
Cannot use app
The app will not open. I keep getting an error message each time I attempt to open saying check network connection. I can’t even connect my purifier to WiFi or Bluetooth
Don’t bother, unless you enjoy torture.
I purchased two towers that you can connect to the app and control through Alexa/Google. After the filter was replaced in both machines, WITH Brand specific filter, I can’t get a green blinking light to stop, nor connect them to my account, or do ANYTHING!
Won’t even connect to network
The app itself won’t connect to my WiFi network on initial start up and set up, whether on 5.0ghz or 2.4ghz. Completely useless!

It says it works for this device but it doesn’t work at all. It doesn’t recognize internet even if just using data. Still selling devices for $170 with no app support. This was verified by the company today 5/12/25. Shame!!

No Longer Works on iOS
This used to be a reliable application but it stopped working on iOS two years ago. Guardian Technologies hasn’t updated the application in over 3 years so they clearly don’t care about their customers. I suggest you move to the Winix brand.

Battery Drain Issue
App works but if you leave the app open in the background your battery will drain.
Can not connect to 2 different phones
This app will only connect to one phone. So other members of home must use only one phone to operate the air purifier.

Five times I’ve connected the Bluetooth Wi-Fi says it was connected and goes right back to the beginning screen don’t know what to do at this time giving up Also going to return it because of this it’s 2022 you can’t get the Bluetooth right your product is not good would not recommend anybody buying this

App does not work with iOS
I was able to add three devices and everything was great- and then nothing about an hour later. App can’t connect to any device.
Spyware and no features
Why does an air purifier need my location, especially if there’s no geofencing for functions? Why aren’t there schedules? Why must location be enabled to do anything on this app?
This is nothing but spyware with a questionable air circulator. Very disappointed.
