A major update to the gaming experience. Since our soft launch, we've rebuilt how kids and parents come together in one app. The three biggest changes in this release: UNIFIED LOGIN One app for the whole family. Sign in as a parent on your phone, or sign in as a gamer on your child's device using a pairing code given to them by the parent. Both experiences now live in the same app. Only parents make an account. IN-APP GAMING Your child's games now stream directly inside GuardianGamer—no jumping between apps, no separate browser tabs. Roblox is supported now, with more games coming soon. The safety layer is invisible to your child; the experience is the same gameplay they already love. We did improve the startup time of the streams by doing so, and it is still possible to get lost, but when you re-enter the app, your stream and gaming continues. So they are right back where they were with the same friends. ASK THE GUARDIANGAMER ASSISTANT A new parents-only AI chat that knows your child's gaming activity. Ask anything about their play—what they built, who they played with, time spent, notable moments. Get honest answers drawn directly from their actual sessions. It is your ally, who only knows about the gaming ecosystem and is grounded with only your child gaming sessions. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE - Daily highlight reels with short tags showing what happened in each session for fast readers - AI-powered session summaries arrive about 20 minutes after each gaming session, but a place holder is there to show you something is being prepared. You already see the basic data. - Private voice chat limited to parent-approved friends only - Trusted Friend Groups: invitation-based circles for sports teams, school friends, neighbors, and family - Smart Time Management: daily and monthly play allowances per child - Playtime insights: today, this month, and a weekly view - One subscription covers up to three children on the Family plan - Both parents (or grandparents) can be added as guardians - 30-day free trial with full features—no credit card required We're parents too.
