Word is a word puzzle game with one rule that sets it apart: every word - both the secret answer and every valid guess - contains five completely unique letters. No repeated letters, ever. That single constraint makes every elimination more powerful, every deduction sharper, and every win more satisfying. HOW TO PLAY A secret 5-letter word is chosen at random. You have 6 attempts to identify it. Tap letters on the on-screen QWERTY keyboard and press Enter to submit. After each guess, instant colour-coded feedback tells you exactly how close you are: Green (+) - correct letter, correct position Yellow (-) - correct letter, wrong position Grey - letter is not in the word at all Because no word has repeated letters, a grey result rules that letter out completely - across every position. This makes your process of elimination faster and more decisive than in a standard word game. SCORE FOR SPEED AND SKILL Your score is based on two factors: how few attempts you needed, and how quickly you solved it. A first-guess solve in record time earns a massive score. A slow sixth-guess win earns far less. The timer runs from the moment a new game begins, so every second matters.
