“Guide to a Japan Heritage site, Saiku” is a multi-language application program to help you enjoy the Japan Heritage site in Meiwa-cho, Mie Prefecture, titled “Saiku: The Palace of Saio - the Imperial Princess Prays.” When this application program is started up, a manga is displayed first to help you learn about Saiku. Everyone will enjoy it. This application introduces the cultural properties mentioned in the stories about Saiku and Saio, and has a “Stamp Rally” menu, which is a walk to collect a series of stamps while visiting facilities such as cultural properties. In addition, Meihime (the mascot character of Meiwa-cho, an elf of the Japanese wild iris) guides the routes to such facilities; so, you can enjoy sightseeing without getting lost. There are some special gifts of sightseeing, for example, limited images which can be browsed only when you arrive at a site or a prize of the “Stamp Rally” finishers. So, please enjoy this Japan Heritage site, "Saiku: The Palace of Saio - the Imperial Princess Prays", using this application program at hand. [Major contents] - You can learn about a Japan Heritage site, “Saiku: The Palace of Saio - the Imperial Princess Prays” from a manga and some 31-syllable Japanese poems called “waka”. - The twelve cultural properties of a Japan Heritage site, “Saiku: The Palace of Saio - the Imperial Princess Prays” are introduced. - A “Stamp Rally” walk stopping by cultural properties is available. - A local mascot character guides the routes to the cultural properties and major sightseeing facilities of “Saiku: The Palace of Saio - the Imperial Princess Prays.” - Limited images can be browsed when stopping by each cultural property. - Special gifts are presented to the “Stamp Rally” finishers.
