app doesnโt work
I bought in app purchases to allow me to open xml format music but when I try to use these functions I get Parse error in red at the top of the screen.
Fair but tie not supported.
Seems to work fairly well. But, does not playback \tie notes correctly. The notes are played individually instead of having a longer duration single note.
Just so-so
Looks workable at a glance BUT!!, no help, no menus, no text with music, no spacing of bars, not intuitive, not much for $4.00 had to export to email and cut and paste in pages. POOR DESIGN!!!
Poor
A great disappointment. To get the full effect of the program additional purchases are necessary. Additional purchases are no big deal but you cannot try out the full program without trying the full program to see if you like it. It does not write the score as it is played. For 3/4 time it seems to like dotted half notes regardless of whether or not they re played as such. There seems to be no possibility of starting on a lead note. For example, if a song starts with a quarter note in the firs measure and then the next measure is the firs full 3 count measure, this program will always start with a full measure.
There may be a way around this which I do not know about but there is no guide book to explain how things work. One has to try the program by total experimentation without any help.
As a result of this, I find this program useless.

Can't test with free version?
Can't play back entered music, not even partial without in app purchase, therefore can't test software for my purpose. Also need to save as midi, I don't see that mentioned in description. Other than that entering music is much easier than the other app I found, would consider purchase if I could test saving and playback of at least a few measures. If you can't save or load without purchase why not at least let us enter and playback to test sound? If you gave full features for up to maybe 6 measures it would be much more tempting to play with and learn then purchase for longer music
