Outstanding tool

Excellent tool , great fun too

Great app for guitar

App is well done. Love the licks, and the tab is actually perfect, which is a problem in many other apps. If you’re looking for guitar licks, this is the go to app.

Was pretty great.

So for a while now I have not been able to get in touch with support. The “mystery” blues pack I got before will not let me re-download now that I have new phone. It won’t even let u share to unlock it. Been trying to get with support but it seems they stopped caring about this app. If this does happen to be resolved I would change my rating but who knows.

Suggestion

Please put the key name in the licks. This app is good.

A couple of BIG misses

Not a terrible trainer, but it is missing a couple of important features.

There is no indication of the underlying chord the luck is played over, so good to train fingers, but not to train the mind - equally important in my book.

Also, the count in on the metronome kind of baffles me. A good, two measure count, with four beats on the first measure an eight on the second would help me. I find myself playing catch up a bit, which is not ideal.

Perfect.

Great start on this app. The licks are great not to mention affordable. The app is easy to use. I can't wait to see what they add. I do wish it was available on the iPad. Maybe they are in process

Meh

You can't play along through a interface and there's some latency issues. It's not great but I haven't deleted it yet so...we'll see. It might be better as a $2 app. I expected more for $3.99+tax

Updated review following update

I can’t give it 4.5 stars so rounded it up to 5. One of the key things missing from the original version was fingering for the licks. Some of us old times know which pentatonic box they were in and so that wasn’t such an omission but now they’re in there this is a steal for any guitarist who likes blues and blues / rock licks. See my earlier review for other comments. The only thing missing now is the chance to piece the lick parts back together again. You can break the longer licks into smaller pieces to learn them which is great, but as you get Part 1 and Part 2 under your fingers it would be good to be able to play Part1 and 2 together. Nine buzz have mentioned they are working on this so I’ll patiently wait while I work on my Texas Blues… Great job.

First app concept of its kind

I love it, this will be #1 app for learning. You won't sound like anyone one song, major benefit you don't have to preform, music is interpretation, I would like to see familiar songs added, because that would give a double benefit. But as far as learning this makes it as easy as it gets. And I bought all the best apps already, this I use more. Keep the tabs coming, maybe allow sharing? Share tabs? Who knows this app seems it's capable of that or will be. Simply Amazing
