Catastrophic bugs

I bought this app to transcribe music I’ve composed. At first, I was impressed — I finished my first song in about 45 minutes and really clicked with the workflow. But almost immediately after saving, the app reported that the song file was corrupt and couldn’t be opened. Shortly after, the file disappeared completely and all my work was lost.

This is a deal-breaker. A music app must be able to reliably save and restore files. I strongly recommend avoiding this tool until the developer addresses this issue.

Good investment

Easy to use and very helpful when I just can’t recall that song part because I haven’t played it in a while.

Great songwriting resource

Bought this for no money looking for an easy way to make a record of riffs etc to enhance my songs. Does a great job although it seems to loose sound if the app is open for a while. Also had a problem with a file getting corrupted but that was probably finger trouble. Instructions are a bit anorexic but for the money it’s a great resource.

Simple and easy to use

Simple as that.

Basic but clever

Takes a little while to find where everything is and, once put aside for a while, needs to be relearned but seems pretty well thought through and executed. Reliable so far, good work.

Can't seem to be able to award stars but 4/5 for now.

Updates Review-Satisfied

New update fixed the issue of not being able to load the app without crashing. I did lose the tabs I had in there but it could have been from deleting the app at one point. Either way, I think it’s worth the couple bucks to have an app to quickly write down ideas or a quick Tab. I like the easy to use guitar fretboard as well as being able to switch to ukulele. Appreciate the update!

App won’t open

Just bought this and it doesn’t open on my iPad. Crashes instantly. Useless. Had to request a refund through the App Store.

Crashes Instantly

I just downloaded this app after the App Store says, “works with this iPad” which is an iPad Pro. Upon opening the app it immediately crashes and will not open the app whatsoever. Waste of $1.99. Nothing on their support page addresses app crash issues that I can see. To be fair, I’ll change the review if this is corrected. Otherwise, total waste of money on my part.

Crashes

No longer opens

Don’t bother

Doesn’t open at all

App does not open

Not functioning in iOS 15.1.1, despite note that it has been updated.

Garbage

The most recent update fixed nothing. Crashes on start up. In fact it doesn’t even open. What used to be a terrific tab editor is now crap. Too bad.

Great App! Worth it!

Unlike some other apps that kinda lead you on to think you can actually take useful and nice looking notes for the songs you’ve learned, this one actually does what it says. It has a learning curve and needs more instructions to operate but just play with it and you’ll figure it out if you at least know a little bit about music to get yourself started.

The chord list currently doesn’t display properly on my iPhone 12. The dots are not displaying on most chords. Everything else is working fine so far.

Great app for such a low price!

Really useful app for all guitar players, especially if you have a lot of songs and tend to forget them easily :(

Best ever app.

This app is totally awesome,I play several different instruments ,one is the dobro not a lot of great tabs so this app has been incredible to change to different tunings.Change a guitar or mandolin to dobro and transpose. I took guitar tab Jesu joy input for dobro GBDGBd tuning .It took several hours to input , but once in,listen how it sounds and start learning to play. Awesome. Thanks so much for this app.

Excellent

Nice one mate, exactly what I’ve been looking for to jot down ideas. Love the fretboard input system.

Time signature

How do I change time signature and add rests?

Ties?

I started to tab my first song and needed to tie a note into the next measure and I didn’t see this option. Is it available?

Great idea - bit fiddly

Great concept and easy to use, but it’s a little fiddly and takes time to use. If you practice it takes shorter time but it’s still handy.

So far, so good. But...

So far with my guitar the app works fine. But I’ve tried to make a custom for my mandolin, but the pitch of the strings are wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
