Stuck

There are no instructions I’m a newbie trying to figure out where to start in the app.

Response from developer

Please go to 'i' for information in the app. There are plenty of instructions including information on every icon for every exercise. Furthermore, there is an onboarding tutorial (press 'i' in the top corner in case you missed it when opening the app for the first time - this is the recommend place to start) and also there is a video tutorial showing you how to use this guitar scales & chords app. This is the link as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHkpfu0SuBw Also you can email our support at info@LearnToMaster.com for more help

Where is the version with no ads?

Is there a version without ads? They are annoying and distracting.

Response from developer

Yes. We recommend Guitar Scales & Chords Pro. There's no advertising there.

Good idea but....

No sound and keeps crashing. Needs a much better interface. Not a patch on Justin Note trainer. I will await updates.

Crap

It's designed to force you into hitting ads

Response from developer

Sorry you feel that way, but it is incorrect. We comply with the Ad Policy Guidelines and there is a Pro version with no ads if you prefer.

Jamming

Great but a lefty option would be relatively easy and broaden the appeal

Response from developer

Excellent suggestion and so we have added it in the latest version.

Great app for guitar scales

1000s of scales in different positions to learn and use as a reference. Jam to a scale against a click too.

Lefty

Needs to have a left-handed option for us lefties.

Ideal!

Brilliant little app and well made. I'm constantly looking for different scales for shloopdydoop shredding sessions and this is just what I was after.

Tip of the cap to you, sir!

Terrible

Lol fret board is upside down. Terrible!

Response from developer

In the settings you can reset the fretboard depending on how you want to use it...like a real guitar, or looking at it. We have also made 1000s of improvements since this review so we hope you check it out again.

Rubbish

It says your wrong when your right! As in Cm pentatonic for example.

Can Be Helpful Sometimes

You can't play any chords. You just get get your fingers in the right position and then it just plays the note for you. You touch a string and it makes the sound for you. Can be helpful, but not when you are learning chords.

Response from developer

Since this review we have made 1000s of improvements. There are exercises for chord and song playing also which will suit you.

Needs a few features

2x width fret board added in latest version. But, making the board the largest size has the ad geting in the way. Move the ad to the very bottom of the screen.

This has not changed in this version...Need option to see all highlighted notes all the time. Currently, it only shows notes as they are played. Seeing a scale means recognizing the pattern. This needs to be implemented in the "scales" part of app.

Also, while viewing all notes, played note should be highlighted with bright yellow...readable.

Goes to 5 stars when these are fixed/added

Stupid app

Don't waste your time.

Response from developer

Don't get

This app may have been ok but you can't hardly even use it without hitting another add wanting you to buy something

Response from developer

We comply with all ad standards and as such, over the years, this guitar scales and chords app has had 1000s of improvements which has resulted in an excellent learning experience.

Poor - avoid

There are so many issues with this app it's difficult to list them all. Basically it's a nice idea with very sloppy production quality and of very little use to anyone looking to learn their scales. Go elsewhere.
