About
GuitarMap turns your guitar neck into an interactive map.
You know your open chords and pentatonic box 1? GuitarMap takes you further: see where notes, scales and triads live across all 22 frets — and understand how they connect.
Free. No ads. No data collected. Built by a guitarist, for guitarists.
MODES
• Play — Put your fingers anywhere on the neck: the chord is recognized in real time. Barre chords and muted strings included.
• Scale — 18 scales: pentatonic, blues, major, minor, all 7 modes, harmonic and melodic minor, Phrygian dominant… View them by position (CAGED system or 3 notes per string), or as one continuous path from one end of the neck to the other.
• Triad — The 1, 3 and 5 across all 4 string groups. The go-to tool for mastering inversions and adding color to your solos.
• CAGED — The 5 shapes of any major or minor chord, across the whole neck.
• Chord — 12 types (maj, min, 7, maj7, m7, sus2, sus4, dim, aug…) and their positions.
• Interval — Tap any fret: every interval around that note lights up.
