Disappointed by the full screen option removed
It was great to read the news in full size but in this update, there is bo full screen option and it made the app experience worst !😤😖

Adv problem
When we are reading the newspaper the adv of google disturbing and once it shown it doesn’t get closed. And we cannot go ahead from one page to another. Since the app is updated the problem started. How to read the newspaper paper.

Advertising App
The new version of this app is completely ad based version. We are sometimes not able to close the ad page and hv to close and reopen the app. No use of paid subscription. Such a looting mindset from GS was not expected.
Needs subscription to remove ADS
Too many ads making it difficult to read news clearly. Please implement optional subscriptions for ad free experience.
Full of Advertisements
This app is not a native iOS app, bit just a web wrapper, which is basically the same as their website on a browser. If that was not enough, user is greeted by full screen model advertisements every now and then, which cannot be closed easily and blocks the user from doing anything.

Zoom is really giving a hard time to the users to read.. When I zoom in the page to read the news, it automatically gets reset as if it’s saying you shouldn’t read this

When open news it show add and content behind the add can’t read first paragraph
Slow and Not Category wise
I saw couple of times its slow and little laggy. And topics and city news are not as related, Title is Baroda while news is from Jamnagar. alos, Suppose to be India and Eu will do announcement but it saying India and USA. GS team please, put some efforts and people to keep it at top level.
Bugs are there, App widget is crashing all the time.

App gets killed, while reading article
App does not allow to zoom article. It automatically un-zooms it in every 1 min or so. This is super frustrating and on top of that, app gets killed everytime after 10-15 mins max.

Scrolling problem
When we are scrolling the news paper it shut downs, even some times when scrolling the video it shut downs the app. So many times it happened. Developer must have to solve this problem. How to read the news paper if the app gets closed?

Poor app optimization
App crashes after few minutes on iPhone 13, latest iOS. Also someone had mentioned couple of years ago that the app needs dark mode and I fully agree, can even add a FT style tint
