Gulf War

Gulf War is a vertical-scrolling arcade shooter (shmup) inspired by classics like Galaga and Sky Force. You pilot a fighter jet through seven visually distinct levels across the Arabian Gulf — Doha, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Dubai, and the Final Stronghold. CAMPAIGN — Seven cities, seven bosses. Each level has a unique enemy mix, a signature mechanical identity, and a boss with its own attack signature. — Casual-to-arcade difficulty curve: Doha eases you in, Final Stronghold pushes you to the edge. — Elite mini-bosses appear mid-level from Oman onwards. ENEMIES Eight enemy types: basic drones, fighter jets, heavy cruisers, kamikaze divers, zigzagging interceptors, stationary snipers, flanking turret gunners, and elite mini-bosses. BOSS ATTACKS Six bullet patterns including aimed, radial, spiral, stream, heavy shot, and sinusoidal wave. Late bosses teleport between positions and summon reinforcements. PROGRESSION — Collect coins to unlock new aircraft and upgrade your weapons (machine gun, spread shot, homing missiles, laser). — Replay the campaign on Normal, Hard, and Ace with separate progress for each difficulty. — Three star-rating system per level: complete, hit a score threshold, and finish without taking damage. — Leaderboards and achievements via Apple Game Center.
