LINK ISSUES?!
Okay so I got a free collab as long as I post a video I don’t get charged. Essentially I posted a TikTok and instagram video on a product. Tagged mention and explained. Pretty upset to find out apparently my “links aren’t valid” Like what?! Ive messaged through the “report an issue” thing in the app SEVERAL TIMES With no response. I even messaged the brand. No response. Pretty upset because Im not paying $80 for a product I already promote for free. I have a foundation on TikTok and Im curious as to why my TikTok video link isn’t working. SOMEONE HELP ME.

Wouldn’t recommend
Unless you are a big creator you won’t get free collaborations on this app. They make you pay a percentage usually 20% of the product but still have to make content for it. As a content creator who has worked with over 300+ brands on Instagram I have NEVER had to pay for something and make a post. I think this is a bit ridiculous. When I spoke to someone about it they told me there was nothing they could do as “ We’re looking for creators with a consistent posting cadence, authentic audience engagement, and ideally, a history of successful brand collaborations” even tho I fall within the category. I would not recommend this app to anyone, the products are nothing worth getting unless free. ✌🏻

Great Collabs easy to do thank you so much for giving me this wonderful opportunity, but I do want to shout out to the customer service as I had a great move when receiving my clubs and I wasn’t able to finish so I reached out to the customer service and they gave me great responses that helped me tremendously. This is a great app and it’s got great possibilities ! I look forward to working with you again☺️

Awesome App for Content Creator
Love using GumDrop to stay in the know with some of the best new AND tried and true companies. Great selection for content creators of all genres and audience.
Beware
I downloaded the app then the app kept ecitibv out after signing up then my phone restarted randomly even at full battery. Then I deleted it & changed my passwords & removed them from accepted apps through setting in my socials. Becareful because this app is sketchy.
Only discounts available
I had high hopes for this app, and it was very disappointing. The app says I do not qualify for gifted collabs, only product discounts. I have a high engagement rate with around 800 likes and 250 comments per post and have worked with big brands like Vaseline, Fox TV any many more for money, yet I won’t even get a gifted product here.

I downloaded this today and was really excited!
Some initial notes:
1. I went through and selected items I was interested in collabing with but everything I was approved for this week doesn’t fit me or my brand
2. Everything had a fee this week. I’m okay paying for items if they are heavily discounted (they were up to 80% off) but I’m not interested in what I received so I will have to wait until next week
3. Some of the items (a brisket brand) are things I am against. I’m a vegan and would like to be able to “opt out” of meat and leather collabs but there’s no way to say you aren’t interested
4. You get new things every 7 days which is a long time in my opinion. It would be better if there were more options initially or more frequently as waiting a week to see if this app will work for me is frustrating.
I’ll update in a few weeks when I get some more things in my drop, but as of now I am not loving this app.

Hi there - thanks for this feedback! By the end of the month we'll be releasing some upgraded personalization features. We love your idea about flagging collabs you're not interested in, like non-vegan options; adding that to our roadmap. Quick note - creators do need to have about 10k real followers before they start getting offered free products or paid collabs.

This app only takes TikTok and instagram into account. I have a very active blog and a high engagement rate on TikTok and the offers are incredibly high priced. This app also does not take into account experience. I’ve ran an established blog for almost a decade, collaborated with several well known brands and the discounts this app offers is similar to Honey(a money saving app), but having to submit content for usage. It’s much easier to pitch brands directly. Having to pay a brand for them to use your content is incredibly sketchy.

Exceptional Creator App!
As a creator, I am always looking for great new apps to connect with brands and build relationships. I’m so glad that I found Gumdrop! The app is intuitive and offers tons of great brands and products. I not only get great products to promote, but I also have the opportunity to earn commission on my ads. I don’t even have to track my commissions. Gumdrop does all the work for me. I love when I get those unexpected emails from them letting me know that they’re sending me $$$! If you’re serious about content creation, you’ll definitely want to add Gumdrop to your repertoire.

Not for Established Creators
I downloaded the app after a number of emails were sent to me. Reading the reviews, it says they have “paid” collaborations, so I decided to check it out. They do not have paid campaigns. It’s either free product with possible commission or a discount. This app is not for established, full-time content creators. Content creation takes time and creators should be paid for their work and exposure to an audience they work hard to build and maintain (not only in possible commission either). And the ones where they want to offer a discount in exchange for product? That’s insulting. (Edited to one star because that main review is fake. No one with 80k is excited to work for a product and no money unless they bought their followers).

Hey there - sorry to hear you've had a disappointing experience. We do actually have paid collabs, but not every creator gets access to them. Unlike other creator marketplaces where you can see all the collabs and apply to them, we only show you collabs you're pre-approved for. This saves both you and the brands time.
Huge time saver
I loved using this app to connect with brands. Going through DMs on Instagram is super overwhelming, and so many times I’m afraid I’m getting scammed. With the weekly drops on the app I feel like I’m saving so much time because I don’t need to verify these brands. While not all the brands are ones I want to work with, it does take the stress away by having choices each week.

Finally an app that puts creators first
This is the creator app I was looking for all along. No more dealing with agencies and negotiating with brands, I get drops every week and I can choose what I am interested in and I get those products next week.

i’ve had a fantastic experience on the app. having a list of pre-approved collabs to claim every week makes the process of finding new opportunities simple. i don’t have to make awkward pitches in DMs anymore, so i’m grateful to have a tool like this to expand my creative network effortlessly.

Its easy and great so far. Some collabs are free and some are discounted so It depends on your following and engagement,my friend only gets discount so Its no use to her but for me the ones that I want and think its worth a post I got and will continue to use. Some stuff that are like 15$ are not worth it for me to make a reel ,I wish they one that are not a bigger value would be to post a story only.
