Needs improvement

Between gunboundm and gunboundt there is potential for an extremely fun and long lived game. I played PC version before it even went to ijji.com and here are my thoughts
Successes: the game UI, Graphics, Audio, and learning curve are relatively easy. Both M&T have a slightly different way of the actual gameplay which isnt too big of a factor. Controls are easier to learn.

Failures: it is super cash grabby, for a game that was free to play and you could upgrade stuff within the game and only really paid for aesthetics, (on PC) the mobile versions both M&T feel like the creators are desperately trying to bring it back for a quick buck.

Suggestions:
1) bring back basic mobile unlocking (collect x currency by playing and use it to unlock mobiles - option for premium currency use as well)
2) focus less on the upgrades and power ups that can be purchased and focus more on avatar customization (without buffs or very minimal buffs) to replicate the feel of "i played x amount of time and have achieved this awesome skin" while also creating pieces that are advanced versions or premium currency versions only.
3) focus on skins and aesthetics that do not affect gameplay, when it starts to affect gameplay the game becomes unbalanced, less about skill and more about $$
4) potentially keep the shard system for free skins (possibly even premium) and focus overall on visuals and gameplay. (In PC it was possible for a wood to beat someone in gold based on skill alone)
5) the game itself is great, but the fact that skins and sinking $$ into it make it less favorable since all have to do to win is buy stuff. F2P players stay away from games like these because it is too difficuly to even attempt to scale when you get 1 shot by someone who spends 100k in the game.
And 6) bringing back skins from the old PC version would greatly attract old members and even new members. The visuals for the avatar should be extravagant like he old pc version was. Helmet, torso/body, wings, aura, accessories. Even pets can have helmets, auras, and accesories. There is many other options to have premium currency instead of powering up and using it to overrun new people.

I love gunbound, and i play both M&T just because it fills that strategy void, but it's quickly diminished in T with the fact that matchmaking takes forever because there's no F2P players, and the fact that everyone who does play are basically battling to see who has the bigger wallet.

If this is ever addressed i am open to changing the review, but as of now this is where i stand. (Needless to say, i did spend money on pc version)

It got rid of the cheaters

There is no more angle of force bar so the cheaters that write down angles and forces are not happy. Now everybody is equal now. Good for Softnyx!

Me encanta

Me encantaaaa

They ruined the whole game

I was expecting a game like the classic one but no, lets make a pay to win game that ruins all of the fun that Gunbound’s core had. So sad but o well…
