Best game ever
I played this as a kid and it is the only good game left. Nt many classics are still on the App Store, get it while you can.
Bad update
Don't install 3.3.0 - the game will randomly pause & quit to the main menu, making it effectively unplayable. (Leaderboards and achievements are still broken, too, but they don't really matter.) Don't expect a fix, either. The game's more likely to be left in its broken state until it's removed from the app store just like INC and Gk2 were.

Game is God by itself, but for 2,5 years developers haven't added yet any new levels.
Gunslugs
OrangePixel is awesome. If you haven't gotten into their offerings in the AppStore, you should REALLY consider checking them out. Anyway, another great iOS game getting updated so it can be taken into the future. It's great knowing that the developers have been around for a while, and plan on staying here for a while as well. Gunslugs is more of a run'n'gun with mini-games (optional mini-games, which are still run'n'gun based) throughout the game, that usually involve some quick thinking. It's a completely separate beast when compared to Gunslugs 2, so even if you have the 2nd one, the first one is still well worth checking out. Personally, I prefer this one to the sequel. But that's just preferance. They're both fantastic games that I wholeheartedly recommend.

This game is so exciting! It combines all of the elements to make a great game, and it's even better with joypad support! Thank you for keeping joypad in this game! If you like shooting, great music, and pixelated graphics, this is the game for you!

I am pleased with this game and would suggest giving it a try. Controls are perfect.
Needs better movement controls
Maybe a virtual joystick or something would help. I really like the premise of this game, but my thumbs are constantly getting away from the buttons and I find that I'm not moving. At least add some slack in how the controls work to make them a little more forgiving. The League of Evil games have really good platformer movement controls. Something like that would make this game much better. Just trying to help.

Is there any option to change the controls somehow? I would like to switch A and B setting at the jump on pushing the cross up button.. That's the only thing I don't like cuz I'm constantly jumping around cuz there are two jump buttons set and the fire button would be better in A.

Don't bother
Gameplay is really average, their is no strategy, you just keep shooting and sometimes die anyway, avoiding enemy bullets is huge task with the jump physics this game employs.
Addicting, 8bit heaven
Can't stop playing it. Reminds me of my 80's gaming heyday. Highly recommend!
