Safeguarding & crisis response (the bulk of this release) New deterministic response pipeline (responsePipeline.ts) that classifies every message before it reaches the AI model — crisis, attachment/companionship, or disclosure inputs now get a hardcoded, clinically-reviewed template instead of a model-generated reply. Crisis card redesign: the primary helpline (e.g. Samaritans/Childline) is now a large tappable call button up top, followed by secondary options, then a "call 999/911/000 now" grounding line (region-aware) and the GutChecks boundary disclaimer — replacing the old generic banner layout. Removed the "come back and let GutChecks know how it went" task-style closer from crisis and standard responses — flagged as inappropriate immediately after a suicide disclosure. New PatternResponseCard component renders standard (non-crisis) responses from a structured schema (validation / red flags / why it matters / recommended actions / reality check) instead of raw model prose, so output can't drift into unstructured paragraphs. Non-streaming responses are now used everywhere (useLiveStream disabled) — more reliable on-device than SSE, which was causing errors. AI backend New Supabase gemini-proxy edge function — Gemini now has a server-side proxy (keeping the key off-device), alongside the existing claude-proxy. Substantial rewrite of src/lib/ai.ts (675 lines changed) to route through the new classification/pipeline logic. Subscription/trial UI New subscriptionTrialUtils.ts centralizes trial copy so the CTA, badge, and billing disclaimer always match what RevenueCat/StoreKit actually returns, rather than being hardcoded. Default selected plan on the paywall changed from yearly to monthly. Housekeeping Removed the old OtaDebugBanner / otaDiagnostics debug tooling (dev-only, wasn't meant to ship). OTA/runtime-version config reworked (checkAutomatically: 'NEVER', explicit string runtime) to stop a bad OTA update from blocking app launch — a real crash this fixed previously. eas.json switched from remote to local app-version source with explicit build numbers.
