About

GutLoop is a food and symptom diary for your digestion: log what you eat, bowel movements and bloating, then look back for possible patterns in your own records. Scan packaged food by barcode, add several products to one meal, and export your journal with photos in one file you can import on a new phone. Your records stay on your device by default. Logging is free; GutLoop Pro adds optional AI-assisted photo logging, AI Insights and an Insights PDF report. Food diary and meal tracker Keep a simple food diary without complicated calorie counting. Log: • Meals and snacks • Food tags and portions • Notes and timestamps • Optional meal photos Your food history stays organized so you can compare earlier meals with later digestion records. Digestion and bowel movement tracker Create a detailed digestion diary by recording: • Bowel movements • Bristol stool type • Digestive comfort • Symptoms and severity, even without a bowel movement • Stool characteristics • Notes and optional photos Meals and digestion entries appear together on one timeline, so you can see what you ate before each entry. Explore possible food and digestion patterns GutLoop reviews your logs for possible recurring timing relationships between earlier meals and later digestive entries. It can show which meal tags or events appeared around outcomes more often while communicating how much supporting data is available. Insights can become more informative as you add records. GutLoop does not determine that a food is a trigger, prove that a meal caused a symptom, or diagnose a food intolerance. Optional AI meal analysis Choose AI-assisted meal analysis when you want help logging a selected meal photo. Review and edit all suggested information before saving it. AI analysis is optional, may be inaccurate, and requires the selected photo to be processed online. Your photo is not analyzed unless you choose this feature. Private, local-first tracking Core meal records, digestion records, symptoms, notes, and photos stay on your device by default. Data leaves your device only when needed for an online feature you choose, such as optional AI-assisted analysis or AI-generated insights, as explained in the app’s privacy disclosures. Key features • Food diary and meal tracking • Digestion and symptom tracking • Bowel movement and stool tracking • Bristol stool scale recording • Combined food and digestion timeline • Possible pattern insights based on your records • Notes, severity levels, tags, and optional photos • Optional AI-assisted meal logging • Local reminders • Barcode scanning for packaged food • Export with photos, import, and deletion controls Some optional features may require a subscription.
