About

See your routine right after you finish it. GymPlayer films in an endless loop and keeps the last seconds in memory. Step off the apparatus, tap the picture – it freezes, and you can go through your routine frame by frame, play it back in slow motion and go back to live with one more tap. Recording keeps running in the background, so your next attempt is already being filmed. HOW IT WORKS • Film: the camera records all the time and keeps the last 10 to 60 seconds. • Tap: the picture freezes – the hint on screen says TAP TO REPLAY. • Swipe across the picture or drag the slider to scrub frame by frame; |◀ and ▶| step one frame. • ▶ plays the frozen buffer in a loop at 1/10, 1/4, 1/2 or full speed. • Tap again for live. A double-tap on the frozen picture jumps to everything recorded in the meantime. ONE DEVICE OR TWO • CAM+PLAY: one iPhone or iPad films and shows at the same time. Put it on a tripod next to the apparatus, do your routine, walk over, tap. • CAMERA + PLAYER: one device films, another one shows – for example the coach's tablet or your own phone. Both just need the same Wi-Fi; the camera phone's hotspot is enough, no gym Wi-Fi needed. The player finds the camera by itself. • Watch in a browser: any device on the same Wi-Fi can open the camera's address and gets the same player – no app needed there. • With two devices, Wi-Fi drops a frame now and then. After freezing, the player fetches the missing frames from the camera (BF ◢), and "Finish in" wraps that up after 1 to 5 seconds. SAVE A CLIP WITH ONE TAP On the frozen picture, the save icon puts the clip straight into Photos: the whole buffer or just the part between the two handles on the slider, at the speed the slow-motion chip shows. It takes a second or two. MADE FOR THE GYM • Up to 240 frames per second where the camera supports it, 720p or 1080p. • Lock focus and exposure (AF FIX, AE FIX) so the picture stays steady; zoom, rotate, front or back camera. • The handle of the slider shows the frame rate at that point, and a motion curve behind the slider shows where the action is. • Large controls, short hints on the picture, works upright and sideways. PRIVACY FIRST GymPlayer has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it never connects to any server on the internet. The pictures live in memory only and are overwritten all the time. Nothing is saved unless you tap save, and a saved video stays on your device. Streaming to a second device stays inside your local Wi-Fi. FOR WHOM For gymnasts and athletes who want to see their routine right after they did it – artistic gymnastics, trampoline, tumbling, acrobatics, parkour, cheer, diving, climbing or any skill training – and for coaches who review it with them.
