Great support, developers respond to user requests

Excellent app for professional pilots. Flight Pad Pro is fast, practical and clearly made by people who know their stuff. I contacted the developers with a request and they added it in an update without charging anything. Outstanding support and continuous improvement. Highly recommended.

Disappointing

All I need is the B407 app and now I have to get a subscription and purchase the aircraft platform?? Seams like it’s just a way to charge people more money.

Great M&B Tool - Performance data to be improved

This was an kind of app I was looking for, very promising base.
Since I am flying the Aquila AT01, I was looking for an performance tool. This app already enables M&B and TO Distance. Hoping for the developers to expand the performance calculation further on this Aircraft Type.

Would not fly without it

As a General Aviation pilot I find this app indispensable. It is fantastic for performing weight and balance calculations. The developer is extremely helpful and responsive and quickly modified the app when I suggested a modification. As a keen flight simmer I also use it for some of my flight sim aircraft as well. The in-game purchase price is more than reasonable.

EC135 review

Nice app but it doesn’t reflect the most common types of 135s out there. Could not find a version for the T2 plus.

Hi, We have not included the 135s in the standard version because there are too many different varieties and options. Please contact us, we can of course create a solution for your particular EC/H135

Absolutely 5 Star

I use both C-150 & Flight Pad for my piper Lance. I love it. Support deserves a shout out for sure. I contacted them because I couldn’t find the option to change from club seating to all forwards seats. They responded within hours. After telling them what I was wanting they had it resolved by the following morning and I had my seats all forward.

Screwed up a good thing

Had the old app for our MD and bell helicopters. It had aux fuel and external load options. This new one has none of that. Worst app on the market. Getting my money back.!!!!

Excellent weight & balance tool

The Flight Pad app is very useful, professional and in daily use for every operation. Gyronimo has done a great job here. I can’t understand the negative reviews. The app has never crashed with us.

Confusing Interface

First I want to say I like the weight and balance part of this app. Next I want to say this is the most confusing app I’ve ever used. For being around since 2012 you would think the UI would be debugged and polished…but it’s not. There are many areas that I don’t know what I’m looking at. Many areas that I think are just displaying wrong data. The actual weight and balance numbers are correct. I’m a developer and have written weight and balance apps for business jets. His numbers are correct but many things around all of that I find I’m always asking myself what’s that or what does that mean. The app is worth the cost but it’s very confusing to use it.

Thank you for your feedback. Flight Pad is a new and very flexible app. Unfortunately the high amount of features makes it sometimes a bit confusing to work with. We try our best to make things easier. We now have new support videos on our Youtube channel. Also there are now support links that you can open directly from within the app. Please check out the latest app version. We will continue improving Flight Pad.

Less functionality for more cost

If you actually fly for a living, not the best app to use. Older aircraft specific versions were better. Things like getting correct HOGE values with an external load now cost extra and require “custom programming” along with additional fees going forward. Kind of annoying when the old version was a one time cost and the new version hits you with a subscription based fee model but does not have much real world functionality. Especially if you have things like a cargo hook, particle separator or filtered inlet, etc. Can’t understand why it would be so hard to have a toggle button for external load and have the performance charts plot the correct values like other versions have.

Keeps crashing

Worked once but now keeps crashing as soon as I open it on iPad

Probably a good app but issues with billing, usability

The subscription tiers are confusing, tried to purchase the 172S and it told me I needed tier 1, get back to menu says I need tier 2 for it AFTER I made the purchase, so I upgraded to tier 2 anyways.

However!!! Then they charged me for tier 1 AND tier 2 (which is supposed to include tier 1)

The way all this is laid out isn’t super clear and I definitely shouldn’t have been charged twice. Refunding and sticking to pen and paper or excel. Needs work.
