Ads ruin the game
Game play is interrupted several times every minute, launching Safari to show an ad.

The ads are ridiculous
I played a single round, not a difficult round, one of the beginning ones that you can finish quickly. FIVE. FIVE TIMES the ads interrupted the game. Worse even, the ads take you out of the game completely. This used to be one of my favorite games, it’s not worth keeping anymore.
What’s the world coming to.

While this game is a classic for me, the ads make it unplayable. The ads open seemingly every 20-30 seconds. The ads completely take me out of the game and open a browser window, which I then have to quit out of, reorient myself back to the game, and then later have to go back and close the 40+ ad browser pages. I swear in the course of clearing 2 levels, I had 54 browser pages opened. Ridiculous!
Get rid of the ads or else place them between levels. Also, these ads do not need to be browser pages that open, which place adware and other garbage on my phone.
I’ll hang onto the game for a while, but will not play until there is an update to correct this.

Terrible
Ads ruined game that I used to love. Rounds are repeatedly interrupted by the browser opening to show ads. This makes the game unplayable.
Ads make it unplayable
I used to love this game. The latest update added SO MANY ads, it’s nearly unplayable and certainly no longer enjoyable. This timed game is made up of short, increasingly difficult stages. While I understand the need for ads, they should ONLY be between stages. The last stage I tried had 12 (!) instances (in ONE round) where the game was stopped at random and my browser was opened, to a web page I can only assume is being promoted by the app’s makers. Once I shut down the window and returned to the game, I had to spend time re-orienting to the layout before making another move. It’s so frustrating that I will not only avoid using the app, I will avoid patronizing the advertisers, until the ads are placed more reasonably in the game, like between stages. This is no way to market a game or to advertise, but a great way to get folks to hate both the game AND the ads.

Darn Game
Good time waster. Fun. Until today, when I thought I picked up a virus because game switches to a silly Safari site. And I already paid for an upgrade a long time ago. I guess they don't want people to play the Gyrotate anymore. Just went to GoosTrix site and it's looks like they are out of business. Too bad, really. I'll delete, but makes me sad.

Ruined with ads
I have always enjoyed this game. I don’t play very often but always had fun playing a few games now and then. When I opened the game to play today the ads would interrupt the game itself. Most ads play between games. Since this game has a time low limit to complete the level the constant interruptions make the game unplayable. I get that they need to make money and ads are a way of doing that but these ads are so disruptive that I have deleted the app. Sorry to see it go.

New Version Ruined by Ads
I used to love this game -- I've had it since my very first iPhone. But the ads are so frequent and annoying, I might be deleting it, which makes me very sad!

I understand app developers need to make money, and if people won’t pay for the app, then ads are how they make money. This is a fun game completely ruined by excessive ads. And no, that is not an exaggeration. Most games show an ad at the end of each level. This app launches Safari every 10 seconds or so to display an ad. It is absurd. I have heard the argument that disruptive ads can get people to pay to have the ads removed. But you should not punish people for using your app. When ads are used in a punitive way it just makes me delete the app. Then the developer doesn’t get my money and doesn’t get any ad revenue, either.

Please fix the automatic ads that I don't touch!!! This game needs updates. Was gone for soooo long, glad it's back. Try to do a game and it takes me to ads that I don't touch. Please fix!!!!
Annoying
I reinstalled this game because I remember having fun with it a long time ago but with the current version, every 30 seconds or so the Safari app is opened and loads a spam site. Every. 30. Seconds.

Was one of the only games I purchased when I got my first iPhone. I was pleased to see it back again but the ads completely change the experience. Something was updated a few days ago and now the ads that ran at the bottom cause the game several times in a session. Very annoying!!!!

I've literally had this game for years. More than 4, and it was great. A little outdated, but a lot of fun.

Gyrotate-- Great app
I've wasted an amazing amount of time on this app. It is easy to learn, but absorbing. My whole family loves this great game. Best part? No score.
Back to the old..
Goosetrix please put Gyrotate back to the way it was. The ads at the bottom are annoying and the graphics are no longer crisp like they were. It's no longer enjoyable to play.
