Can’t read the text
I guess I’ve reached a certain age but I can’t read any of the text in the menu. I got stuck at a level because I’m supposed to read the mission details and literally can’t read any of the text, the font is too small. I’m not going to jack up the font size on my entire phone just for this one game.
Guess they need a geezer warning on apps (though this is the first time I haven’t been able to use an app or game because the font is illegible). I also tried changing the resolution setting in the app and it didn’t help.

Final boss
A GREAT metroidvania but the final boss genuinely just destroys the game. It’s so unfair, poorly designed and entirely not fun. The difficult spike is genuinely absurd.

1.ニューコインで遊べるボスラッシュを始めると戻れなくなるっぽいです。
左下に「戻る」と書かれてるものの、押しても何も起きません。クリアしても戻れないのでセーブもされずコインが増えないので、改善して欲しいです。
2.Baakの頭の中で間違えてマップを開くとそこから戻れない不具合がありました。もともと右下にある❌が現れませんでした。
以上、確認と改善をお願いします。

got this for my Switch a while back and then saw it on sale here and figured why not.
Now I’ve played it more on iOS than on my Switch. =P
Very nice and easy to recommend Metroidvania with some pretty nice combat and enough exploration to keep you busy for hours and hours. Plus, it’s another console-quality game on iOS that’s no IAP, what’s not to love? Fans of the genre should definitely have this game on at least one of their gaming systems.

Probably my favorite game
I grew up playing the original Metroid and Castlevania games and this is a near perfect homage. The controls are obviously a little harder because it’s on the phone, but that does not detract from the joy of the game. One of the few games I even tried to get good at playing. I hope there is more to come in the future.

I enjoyed it so much I wish the developer did a sequel/continuation of the game.

It’s three bucks but the game it’s worth it trust me. Never play metroidvania’s but this game is awesome, great controls even though they aren’t shown above.

Récemment j’ai été tenté de commencer hollow knight , un jeux connu pour sa difficulté. Avant de me confronter à celui ci j’ai voulu commencer le type metroidvania avec HAAK, je suis tout de suite amoureux du jeu. Musique et ambiance prenantes, gameplay jouissif et carte explorable énorme

I am not compelled to complete Haak. The game does not rely on the grappling hook concept as much as one might expect.
It is a basic game in the Metroidvania genre (Metroidvania games have a maze-like design) with some interesting story/design choices that resemble current times rather than the past or future. This makes the game somewhat interesting. Technically, Haak does take place in the future from 2025 when this review was written.
The problem is that the controls do not live up to the interesting elements of Haak. I must have gotten 7-10 hours through the game before deleting it do to boredom. Two-dimensional games with digital circle pads, regular circle pads, or control sticks feel like a waste of an opportunity every single time.

Awesome game!! Please make another!!!
Well all that needs to be said is in the title of this post. This game is a hidden gem and I hope more people will be as lucky as I was to have found it. This is a new classic imo. The devs nailed it! Please keep the content coming!
