Havex is a landscape field bench that places two precision calculators side by side, so the math is done before you ever pick up the knives. Wave Cut converts a target frequency into exact antenna element lengths. Type the frequency in megahertz, choose the type (half wave dipole, quarter wave vertical, folded dipole or coaxial stub) and adjust the end effect factor or cable speed factor. It returns the wavelength in free space and each piece to be cut, in both meters and feet-and-inches, so you can measure and cut straight from the measurement. Dip Gauge indicates partial tank. Choose a vertical or horizontal cylinder, enter the diameter and length, then set the dipstick depth. It calculates the filled volume using true circle segment geometry and plots a graph from depth to volume, in liters and gallons, so that a stick reading becomes an exact quantity.
