Iāve been looking for this AUv3 forever and itās been around for years. It has made my mixes more dynamic and has allowed me to precisely position every instrument and practically any sound. Mixing without this is like flying blind.

It works, just not for what I want it for.
I was a huge fan of the first version of this app. One of the problems with recording guitar amps is youāre just getting sound from a spot on the speaker. Even if you add in a second mic it sounds lifeless. It doesnāt sound like the amp when youāre standing right there in front of it and thatās because youāre hearing it with two ears and getting reflections around the room so it sounds stereo to you. That was one of the things I used this for. It took a mono signal and gave it some stereo spread. Now this new version does do that but it just doesnāt sound the same. They didnāt include into this the classic controls so Iām stuck with all these sliders that are pushing frequencies different directions and it ends up sounding unnatural or unbalanced. I hate this thing. The only reason Iām giving it three stars is because itāll likely work for you just fine. Itās just my particular situation it gives me nothing but problems that werenāt there in the first version. Klevgrand, please add in the classic waveform control from the first one or reissue the first one for people like me, who still prefer it. I used that on every single recording Iāve made on the iPad and Iād really like it back please.

Subtle but effective
Haaze has become my go-to effect for adding spaciousness and breadth to my mixes. Itās not over the top, you barely know itās there until you compare wet and dry. But suddenly those thin-sounding monophonic instruments assert themselves.
You donāt need to understand the physics and psychology behind this plug-in to use it effectively. The factory presets are more than sufficient.

This widening sound you can get out of Haaze 2 in your mix is fabulous! Itās a must have for professionals!
Hamaazeing
The original was good, but a bit of a broad brush. This is a mighty fine upgrade that gives you control over not just how it sounds on an individual channel, but also where it sits with the rest of the mix. Alongside the 2 other KP apps I've finally got around to reviewing tonight (Luxe and Brusfri), it gets used on virtually every session now, and definitely on every session I get around to actually recording. Top marks again :) Apologies for the truly awful title for this review btw...

Very pleasing results
I have used this App inside Auria Pro and Cubasis 2 with great results. It brings life into those dull tracks. A very nice product. For whatever reason this app fails to work inside Cubasis 3.
