The nostalgia is always great. I grew up around Habbo. It was a good chat site for me when I was a teen. I decided I’d revisit it again just for old times to see what’s going on. How about is as it is pretty much dead. And the moderation team moves the goal posts. As of the posting now on July 26, 2026. I can for sure say that the moderation team is almost nonexistent. Within 10 minutes on the site I came across a dude talking about about beating women and killing them in mating them with dogs simply because their religion said they could and you know what the staff team did not only did they not ban this person they proceeded to mute and kick anybody that went against him for violent role-play

Habbo lies to the players
Each month there are crackables(at least in the hotels where gambling is “allowed”) and Habbo has a chart for the % chance of getting said furni. EVERY TIME the odds are WRONG! Also why do the non gambling hotels cost so cheap vs the gambling for the furni?

Improved a lot, wish all updates came with app however
Some people will always find something to complain about, so I do not think every review here is a fair reflection of the app as it is today, or of the work the Habbo team has put in. The app has improved a lot, and personally, I do enjoy using it a good amount of the time. That said, playing on a computer still feels essential if you want the full experience.
It is great to see Sir Jonas making improvements to Classic, but the app continues to feel like it comes last. A lot of the wired updates, and seemingly many of the recent “100 improvements” that were promoted, are not available on the app. Some wired features have been out for over six months, yet app players still cannot open them, view their settings, or make changes. That is frustrating and does make the app feel neglected.
Unfortunately, I do not see this changing while the loudest voices continue to drown out the wider player base, especially those who mainly use the app. App players are still part of the community and should not feel like an afterthought.
One wider criticism I do have of the game is that there can be a perception that certain players are favoured by staff, and that this gives them benefits or protection others would not receive. This is especially frustrating when those players are known within the community for causing problems or upsetting others. For example, Jonas has publicly interacted with and supported a player who many consider to be a troublemaker, despite concerns about their behaviour in-game. Whether intentional or not, this gives the impression of staff having favourites or being too close to certain groups.
Overall, the app has improved and deserves some credit, but there are still clear issues around app support, feature delays, and how staff engagement with certain players can be perceived by the wider community.

Every update gets worse
Everytime the game is updated it becomes more laggy, can’t even log in without the app closing itself down. It’s always something Habbo don’t care for their mobile users at all

The login code takes forever to get sent to your email - which why is this even a thing if we have passwords??

Spent well over £5,000 on this game and the Habbo team suspended me and locked all my rooms and removing everything I own I tried to get it all back and the Habbo team is no help whatsoever

Login ohne Passwort funktioniert regelmäßig nicht. EMAIL KOMMT NICHT AN - Wieso kann man sich nicht mit seinem Passwort anmelden ?!
Geräte werden extrem heiß bei der Nutzung. Der Akku wird extrem schnell leer gesaugt. Die App ist so schlecht, sollte aus dem App Store verbannt werden. Die App stürzt dauernd ab. Die App hängt sich auf, das Handy wird extrem heiss. Der Chat verschwindet, man sieht nicht was man tippt, die geschriebene Nachricht verschwindet und man muss sie mehrfach neu abtippen. Möbel sind im Inventar, obwohl man sie nicht mehr hat und im FM angeboten hat…

I used to play this game as a 10 year old boy having the best time of his life my parents probably spent £1000 plus just for me to have my own room and items, 5 -10 years go by I’m now an adult and decided I wanted to visit my room for nostalgia, but sadly my account has been deleted, I tried my best with support to recover my account but to no avail.

It’s really fun I like the games and rooms it has in the begging it is hard to navigate but once you get used to it’s fun … it’s underrated for sure and I like how coins you purchase actually has good stuff to offer
