Generally functionally but ‘streak’ badges don’t inspire good habits
Gave up on this app in the end because having paid for it, found the streak / badges thing a bit offputting and certainly not something built soundly on the psychology of positive reinforcement… almost the inverse.
Some of the characters/ badges don’t read across well to all cultures (stinky frog, for example… what?) and so small increments of progress on habits from a starting position of zero generate negative reinforcement / discouragement towards making further progress.
Given that this app is otherwise very well built and has an excellent set of functionality, it could probably be punching way more above its weight (within a market which has a plethora of competitors) and earning more revenue for its creators, if it made some QOL tweaks
.. like toggling the steaks feature on or off (easiest option to implement) or more sophisticated nudges, rather than making it like a child’s computer game.

This app is a really well made and professional app Only I wish to be able to have 4 habits without a subscription.
stopped using for a while and now everything is gone
The app did not offload or anything. It's been on my phone the whole time. I just stopped using it for a while. I just opened it back up, and everything is gone. All my habits are gone, there's nothing that's archived. There are no backups, absolutely nothing. After I paid for lifetime. Unbelievable.

What’s not to love
Honestly I like pretty much everything about this app. I replaced a habit app using a subscription with this one-time purchase one and it does everything I need it to 😂 I like the included emojis and love the little competed sound! Honestly it’s a great app, no complaints
