Great Design, Not Reliable
However, all the data has disappeared from my device twice over this first month. It’s basically unusable with this issue.
data not transferred, new data erased
it happened again. all of my data from the past two months on my new phone has been deleted.
i love the design of this app but you can’t use it for any kind of reliable tracking.
earlier review:
i was using this app faithfully on my old phone (and i paid for an annual premium subscription), but i got a new phone and there doesn’t seem to be a way to transfer the data to the new phone or sync it through iCloud.
so i bought a new premium subscription on my new phone and figured i would start over. not ideal, but these things happen. i’ve used it on my new phone for the last ten days.
then, first thing this morning, i opened Streaky and there was no data. my habits were there but everything was set to zero.
nothing had changed on my end. no idea why everything was erased (it literally happened while I slept).
i really loved the design of this app, but if it doesn’t retain any data, i’m not sure what the point is.

Hello, I'm sorry you experienced this. Currently looking into this and will release an update soon that should hopefully prevent this bug.

Thanks for pointing it out, I think it's an issue on only the iOS version that have gone unnoticed, I'll try fixing it this week.
App wiped my streaks
Data got deleted
No phone updates, same phone, no iCloud changes, nothing.

Hello, sorry for the wait. I agree that the UI is unintuitive. An update is coming within a couple of days, which contains an FAQ section. In the meantime, you can edit a habit by tapping it's name then clicking top-right icon, or through Settings -> Habits -> /habit name/ -> Top-Right Icon. Thanks for your feedback.
