About
Habitic is a habit tracker with exactly one job: let you check off a habit and see your streak. Nothing else gets in the way.
No account screen. No onboarding quiz. No cloud sync spinning in the background. Open the app, add a habit, tap it done. That's the entire learning curve.
WHY IT'S THIS SIMPLE
Most habit trackers grow features until the app itself becomes a chore — social feeds, XP bars, coaching prompts, streak insurance you have to configure. Habitic doesn't have any of that. It's built for one specific person: someone who wants to track a habit today, not manage a habit-tracking app.
WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES
- Add a habit and mark it done — one tap, no confirmation screens
- Daily, weekly, or custom frequency (e.g. "3 times a week")
- A streak counter and a calendar view so you can see your run without doing math
- Local reminders that fire with no internet connection, because the app never needs one
- Export your full history to a file whenever you want
- Import that file back in — on the same phone after a reset, or a new one entirely
- Dark mode, because every app should have one
REAL OFFLINE, NOT "OFFLINE-CAPABLE"
Habitic has no server. There's nothing to log into, nothing to sync, and nothing running in the background collecting usage data. Your habit history lives in one file, on your device, under your control.
IMPORT AND EXPORT, DONE PROPERLY
Most "offline" habit trackers let you export a backup and stop there — lose the phone, lose the habit history. Habitic's export file is also an import file. Move to a new phone, restore after deleting the app, or keep your own backup wherever you want. It's your file, not a proprietary format you're stuck with.
WHO THIS IS FOR
If you've deleted a habit tracker before because it asked for a sign-in, buried your streak behind three menus, or tried to gamify a habit you just wanted to check off — Habitic is built for you specifically.
