bugs

I find this app a bit helpful but there’s a problem whenever i click on a lesson and i complete it it takes me back to the start this bug happens with almost every lesson and it’s really frustrating and also i don’t like how you have to pay for a better version of this app if you want to teach people arabic and advertise it all over tiktok make it free

Very helpful app

The app allows me to carry conversations without mixing in English too much, however I find it to be difficult to pronounce certain phrases or words. Please add more voiceovers to the lessons for an easier learning experience.

Unmatched, brilliant

Thank you so much for this app. I am Iraqi but am not fluent and can’t read/write very well either. (I was raised in the UK) I really want to become fluent not only because it’s my heritage but also to communicate with my extended family. I have been using this app for a few weeks, and wow.

This really teaches you about Iraqi culture, small linguistic details, differences between other dialects, honestly so much. I really love the little notes that appear on words.

Also, I love how it really teaches you how to read Arabic efficiently. The standard form of questions in this app are: just the Arabic word, then some English answers. No English pronunciation guide is given for the Arabic word (you can ask for it though, and the pronunciation is always given in the flashcards) There’s also questions with just an English word and then Arabic multiple choice options, again, with no speaking of the Arabic words; you read it yourself and practice.

Overall really good and they teach you a lot of useful language/break it down.

Space for improvement

Needs more audio recordings and make sure they are correctly pronounced.
Generally good work and would love to buy a membership once the app is improved

Payed

You have to pay like 13 a month if you don’t pay you get extremely basic free lessons that don’t teach anything if you truly cared about teaching people how to speak their language you’d make it free and put adds in instead of

so fun

i’m lebanese but i have iraqi friends and this is so funny to learn and then start saying words to my boys haha im teaching them at this point

Not free

Klawat…3 days free then you have to pay about $10 a month… seriously!! Please spare me the typical response of “You can cancel anytime”

Response from developer

But it is free Yahia! Only a subset of the lessons are locked behind premium, the rest of the app is totally free! Try it out and let us know if you feel limited by not having premium. We're trying to make a really good app for learning Iraqi Arabic and so we have premium as an option for people who want to support Iraqi Arabic culture and apps, but we are still offering a lot of features for absolutely free.

Very good👌🏻

حبيت هذا البرنامج يعلم العراقي أنكليزي 😊

Arabic leaner

amazing. I stumbled upon this app making me realise Arabic is one of the most important languages to k ow as a muslim. Once downloaded, I found it easy and smooth to interact with leaving me with a profound love to learn Arabic. Would recommend multiple dialects.

Amazing, but?

Habibi why you charging me now, it was free and I left a smashing review as well. Cant even log back into my old account allow it fam 😭 Also add text speech as well.

Response from developer

Glad you are finding it useful! The app is still free to use, we just have some additional features that you can chose to pay for - but we also have a free trial :) If you are having any trouble logging in, please contact us so we can help you out!

Good but need improvement

I would use this everyday if it had a speaker for pronunciation

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback, we are looking to continue adding more features and support pronunciation very soon

Good

Could be better. I’d like to be able to hear what it sounds like. I’m able to understand some and potentially pronounce because of my background already but it is difficult if I cannot hear to be able to repeat it. I think with more development this will be amazing. I would love to be able to speak Iraqi Arabic since my mother didn’t teach me

Response from developer

You're exactly the person we want on Hachi! We are starting to add audio pronunciation across the app - you can already find it for the Fun Facts about Iraq to teach you the culture and the lessons in the app!

Great App

I love this new app. Will you add audio later?

Response from developer

Yes, we are working hard to continue add features including support for audio so you can listen to the pronunciation in authentic Iraqi Arabic!

wish there was sound

i think this app has a lot of potential, but how do i know i am pronouncing anything correctly if i can’t hear the words? once they add that feature maybe i’ll download again

Response from developer

Hey, we just started adding sound for pronunciation! Check out the Fun Facts section or the early lessons! We are carefully adding sound because we want to make sure it is accurate for Iraqi Arabic :)

特别好用

对于初次学习方言的朋友来说真的很适合,可以很好地了解伊拉克的文化,还有一些非常地道的表达。
其他已经做得很好啦,非常感谢。
一个小建议。如果每一个短语或者句子,可以搭配语音就好了。因为语音可以更直观学习地道的语音语调。

Helping me a lot

Really happy an app like this exists

Good app. Needs slight review

This is a very good app for Iraqi dialect and I’m enjoying using it, however I find that for the word عافية the app says that it means sadness but the explanation says it means health. Also I’m looking forward to accessing the Niqash feature, can we expect a long wait for it to be released?

Amazing app

Found this app by chance, it’s so difficult to find Iraqi dialect learning tools so I’m very happy with this app and all the hard work put into it. Would also love to see it on the play store so I don’t have to use my kids iPads to revise! Many thanks ⭐️

Iraqi Arabic is cool

Thanks for this can’t wait to learn more Iraqi phrases

Scroll down

I really love this app it really good and easy to learn but when I go to practice and see the options I can’t scroll down to see the bottom option to pick

Response from developer

Thanks for the review! Please update the app to the latest version where this should be fixed. Otherwise contact us salam@tryhachi.com
