Good tool to have.

I have used this app for more than a decade and found it very useful.

Lost color codes with last update

I’ve used this calendar for years now and am so disappointed that my color codes are gone. They show up for each task but not color on the monthly mode. I’ve emailed the site director twice about this issue. I loved this calendar before otherwise before this issue. Please fix the issue.

Some changes I don’t like

I have been using this app for years!! I have always loved it. However, for some reason now the font is so small even when set to large!! I’m not sure when that happened or how. Nothing else on my phone is different. Also, when I add an event that covers a few days in a row, it just leaves blank squares over the days as opposed to copying the info from the first date into the other dates. So now I have to add each day separately. Initially I’d give this app a 4.5 but now more like a 3.

Wonder.

I’ve used this calendar for years on my iPhone and have greatly appreciated the option to color-code each event within one calendar. After installing the app on my iPad, this option is not available. Why? Also, the version on my iPhone is 6.5, but the version on the iPad is only 6.0. Again, why? I’ve also reduced the star rating because this calendar only works in vertical view, not horizontal, making it impossible to use with most keyboards. Hopefully some updates soon!!!

love it!

i love the week view of this app. very easy to read. prefer it over the hachical 3. i have used this app for more than 5 years now. can’t live without it.

however the info didn’t get transferred to the new phone. not quite sure why. took me a while to get it all back. it sync automatically with the gmail calendar app as well.

Great, but ...

This is a great app, with almost everything u would want from a cal.
Could u please get more settings for the week view, as this is what I use most.
Such as settings colours, and most importantly for me, a way to set the week both vertically and horizontally.
Thanks for a great app.

Auto-saving adverts in my events!

That is too much! I accept adverts in the top or bottom bar, but to have them saved in my calendar as events (red coded work events even!!). That is creating mess in my own planning and this app is now useless. Shame. Otherwise would be ok! Bye.

Military time

It's ok but it is in military time and it can't switch over

Upgrade July 31

I love your app and have been using for 2 years. I just upgraded to the new version and don't like the day view setting. I really want to get back the prior version. How do I do that?

Pretty good. One bothersome (to me) flaw.

If while editing an entry, I momentarily switch out of this calendar app (for example to check some information on the web) and then return to complete my entry, I will discover that all my editing was lost unless I saved it. Ouch! Once that is fixed, I'll give it five stars.

Repeat

I tried to repeat an event for several days and when i did this i could only repeat forever could not get end date to set . I did not do the new update because of last post This is working now must have been a temp bug. This us the only problem i have had but again did not do the last update

Love it, but...

Love it, but recent update no longer allows me to color code my events, which was important feature. Also wish you could invite someone (via email) to an event. I create the event in HachiCal but then have to send email invite from iPhone calendar... Frustrating.

crash crash crash

Just kept crashing within 20 seconds of opening.
Deleted it and reinstalled, just keeps crashing.
iPhone4, iOS 4.3

Pretty cool

Very easy to use, i've been looking for something like this. And its free. Great work!

Update crash

The new update now crashes .... Don't down load the update.

so good, i bought the full version:)

This is the calendar app I've searching for, since my iPhone 3G (years ago!).

I don't use Google (I've always used Yahoo), so after buying and deleting tons of other apps that require Google calendars, I was thrilled to finally find this app! It syncs with my Yahoo calendars and the onboard iphone calendar.

If you don't use Google calendars (even if you do), you'll really really appreciate this app! It has all the features of the $4.99+ Google-Only apps for a fraction of the price.

For a full list of my reasons to buy; see my review on Hachi Calendar 2:) But, don't trust me, download this lite version and see for yourself.

Excellent!

Day, month, and WEEK view! All my appointments are already there, synched with iCal without any intervention from me. Even the month view has some text rather than just a dot, so you can see what's scheduled at a glance. And it's free!

Loses a star because it crashes when trying to invite others to a new event.

Added a star because the latest update stopped it crashing, and now you can choose the initial view and week start day, and there's a number telling you if you have more than two appointments in month view. It seems the developers listen and act, superb!

Great app

Does just what it says. Syncs well with iPhone calendar and has a great UI

Probs

Events entered as "all day" show up on correct day as well as previous day. Had to check iPhone calendar to see which date was correct. Also, I see no dif betw the 2 style choices.

To prev reviewer...Start-day of week can be set in Settings in app. Can choose any day; tested Wed & it worked.

X 2

Lists some events twice. Lists Columbus day holiday happening on Tuesday instead of Monday. Back to the original I phone calendar. Boo.
