Drill practice non functional
Anytime I try to do the drill for casting, it honks right in the middle and stops recording because I was doing the drill instead of a full swing. What’s the point of the drill practice mode?
Awful
Won’t connect after changing phones and not playing golf for a while. Impossible to access account after changing phones. Raised a ticket and just been ignored. Awful for the price it cost.
Appalling profit and worse service
I have owned this for 9 months - it head worked once and since then won’t connect. I have messaged and emailed customers support incessantly and have not one response.

This Takes Away all the Guessing
No matter how long I tried, the golf swing happens too fast for me to understand what’s going on and what I need to change with my swing. I’ve bought more golf training aides than I can count, including a $2000 launch monitor - this device has by far been the best for me. It tells me the brutal truth about my swing, then gives lots of easy to understand tutorials and drills to help me improve. The other thing I love is the HackMotion team continues make updates to the app to provide more useful data and features. This device and the app are a must if you’re serious about improving your golf game, even if you’re getting lessons.

New App = less swings captured
I’ve had the hack motion now for about a year and have now gone through two or three app updates. It seems to me every time I experience an app I see less and less swings being captured.

Hi - since end of 2025 we have launched a completely reworked full swing detection system. If you're still having issues with detection, please reach out to our support team so that we can investigate further.
Has really helped my short game and driver
If you have this impact position, you can have any kind of swing. They really are correct about this. For most people if they just learn, learned how to hit shots 70 yards and end with this wrist impact position, they would shave a lot of strokes off their game.
It’s really worth it
It really makes you take the time to do drills, eliminate your bad habits with instant feedback. Could use some tweaks here and there but I absolutely love it so far
Remarkable transformation!!
Guided Practice identifies areas in need of attention. The Drills provide the solutions and the feedback helps you understand what to do and how to do it. It’s simple and it’s effective. After 1 week you will be hitting the ball better.
Initial issue
Received my hack motion plus…the first 2-3xs out it was great…then the vibration feedback feature stopped working…emailed HM repeatedly with no response…somewhat frustrated…
Worth it
I started with the core and realized I had to have the pro so I upgraded. So glad I did. It is fixed several things with my game. I was a 7.9 handicap that still struggled at times with distance. This has helped my hands and my release get where they need to be.
Very Impressed
So I’m already impressed with the hardware. It’s certainly helped me understand my swing better as I take up golf. What really has me leaving this review is the consistent app updates that get posted. Looking through the version history, you can tell the development team is committed to delivering the best software experience. Overall, to date, HackMotion is the single best investment to improving my golf game. Thank you!!

A lot to Like
If the developer ever resolves the issue with swings not being detected this device has a-lot of potential. Unfortunately right now the guided practice feature is basically useless. The drills are pretty solid but not yet perfected enough to have complete confidence in the data. They seem to be aggressively working on improvements so there is still hope.

The good news is that if the drills are working okay, it's unlikely a hardware related issue. Love this device - lot of data tho
I am bad at golf. I’ve been playing for 60 yrs and a great round for me is bogey golf. I started without lessons and back in that day books were the only instruction. This device in the hands of a skilled instructor would have completely changed the trajectory of my game. That said this device will rain on you with numbers and graphs that can easily confuse and overwhelm. Also keep in mind, wrist angle changes are a big change for a lot of golfers which can and probably will make you play worse on the course until you also change the compensations you’ve been making for a bad swing with bad wrist positions. Think of it as an X-ray. It is a diagnostic tool for your swing a skilled technician can help you remedy. Devices like this and pressure plates have made learning golf so much easier. I just wish it was easier to forget the swing I have built over the years. No subscription is awesome!! Support has been great, very responsive and very engaged in making the device a more effective way to get better at golf!!! Great product.

Great Product!
I’ve been using hack motion for a few weeks I’ve found more consistency finding the center of the face with my ball striking. It’s helped me identify an inside takeaway but hasn’t given me a way to fix that I had to take to YouTube and was at the mercy of the algorithm. That’s my only gripe I can get everything green at the end of the session but the Red takeaway has caused me to lose sleep, poor performance at work and ultimately caused me to lose my job… which is great because now I have more time to fix my inside takeaway! Oh and sometimes it doesn’t register my swings! 9/10 would recommend! It would get a 10 if the guy that fired me wasn’t a golfer because I don’t want him to get better… happy golfing!

Great training aid/app
I took about 14 years away from golf. I came back a couple years ago and have struggled finding my swing again for months. Literally, used this app and sensor and found my groove again in days. I am a few minor tweaks away from being back to 78-82 range again. Best aid anyone could ask for. I may just be able to get near scratch golf with help from this tool.

Measure, don’t guess!
Exactly what it is and does. Great concept, great feedback via the software. Easy to use and good to understand the feedback and drills. Best customer support I have ever experienced. Software gets updated regularly with new features depending on the level of purchase.
Great app and program
For the first time in my 82 years I feel like I am learning how to use my left wrist in the golf swing. For years instructors have told me about the importance of the left wrist in the swing but never how to use it. HackMotion gives drills on how to get the right feel and how to monitor it. I set up a driving net on my side deck, turn on the HackMotion and swing away. Occasionally I go to the range to check how the feel translates into ball flight. I just wish I had one of these years ago. Another great feature is that the company is always updating based on feedback.

Game-changing - Crucial Data for club face control
I just tried it out today for the first time, and wow! I had no idea I was extending my wrists too much, not enough flex on the top of my swing, I was doing the opposite of what I thought on impact.. nothing like data to help you quickly adjust in the right direction. I had been using a trackman to try and figure out what was going on but couldn’t understand why my club face was open and leading to a push. In 30 minutes this solved it. Great product, simple, and no subscriptions. Love it. Thank you!

Shut up and do it!
This is a game changer and I love that it’s a once off cost. Improves game performance by a lot! Wish they had more short game drills which can be practiced anywhere.
