Miss the Old App

Before it became ‘Haeyo’ and not so kpop/drama focused, it used to be a wonderful app to learn grammar and daily vocabulary in a simple yet serious study manner. Kind of disappointed in how basic an app it is now. It’s pretty much like Duolingo, but with videos and no in-app purchases (for now that I know of), so I’ll give it two stars for that much. Additionally, there seems to be no option to turn off romanization and no option to type words out yourself? I guess if you’re a beginner interested in pop culture this would be an app for you.

So far so good~

Just going through the overall free part of the app it’s really well made and thorough with writing, pronunciation and even throwing in some basic vocabulary. I appreciate that you can take a test to really see where you stand and the fact that it’s a TOPIK based makes more helpful for those who plan on taking that test.

Bad

It’s been so hard to use this app. Audio won’t play, text ungrammatical to read, not user-friendly at all.
