Features do not work / Poor customer service
I requested a refund and was kindly told to go though apple to cancel. I wanted a refund since I had only used the app for a few hours. There is not an option for a refund through Apple…only to cancel the subscription. I emailed HairLook again and told them this and they never responded.

Hello, and thank you for sharing your experience. We want to clarify a few points. When you contacted our support team, we replied promptly to each of your emails (three replies in total) and provided steps to address the issues you described. If the app did not have access to your saved photos, this can be enabled through your device’s Settings. We also explained that when using HairLook on another device, you can use your restore your purchases and access your account. Regarding the refund, we explained that Apple is the merchant of record for App Store purchases and therefore handles refunds directly. We provided the appropriate Apple refund process and also offered to continue working with you to get the app working as intended. We take customer support seriously and respond to every customer who contacts us. It means a lot to us that more and more users trust HairLook to discover new looks, and it motivates us every day to keep improving the app and delivering a great user experience.

Hi! We're sorry you were not able to achieve the result you wanted. HairLook is designed to create realistic transformations rather than copying a reference image exactly, so some details may vary as we adapt the hairstyle to your own photo while maintaining a natural, realistic appearance. In some cases, the hair color from the reference photo can also influence the result. For example, blonde highlights or balayage from a very bright reference image may appear differently on a darker photo. We'd love to help you achieve the look you're after.
