About

Hajiki Shogi turns a traditional Japanese tabletop game into a physics-driven action puzzle. Hajiki Shogi appeared in a Japanese woodblock print as early as 1859. Now, more than 160 years later, this traditional Japanese pastime comes to life on mobile as a physics-driven action puzzle. No shogi knowledge is required. The pieces do not use their usual moves. Just aim, pull back, and release. Lead the Pawn Rebellion You command nine light pawns against a powerful army led by the king. Choose the right angle. Sacrifice a pawn to open a path. Trigger a chain reaction and send several enemy pieces flying off the board at once. Simple to control. Difficult to master. Features - Simple one-finger controls - 100 levels across 10 chapters - A CPU that tests its moves in a real physics simulation - Different formations and challenges on every level - Replays of your best shots and full matches - Video and image export for sharing - English and Japanese language support - Playable offline except for ads and leaderboards Daily Dojo Take on a new challenge every day. Every player in the world receives the same board. Keep winning until your pawns run out, then compare your result on the daily leaderboard. Replay and Share Watch the final blow, a multi-piece knockout, or the entire match again. Export your favorite moments as vertical videos or still images, then share the shot that sent the king flying. A Japanese Tabletop Experience Battle in a sunlit tatami room with a wooden shogi board, brush-written pieces, and a washi paper interface. Every launch and collision is brought to life by the sharp click of wooden pieces. Videos and Streaming Streaming, Let's Plays, and video uploads are welcome, including monetized content.
