The idea for the app is very cool: to have an actual human answer your questions rather than a bot. When the app first launched, "bot" meant something like Siri, not ChatGPT, so the point of the app was to get better assistance. Now, artificial intelligence language models are everywhere, and the point is now more-so to get assistance from someone who won't lie straight through their teeth to you and always tell you that they're right-- even today, Nature performs better than artificial inventions. I used the app a few times quite a while ago, and it worked alright. The app was entirely dormant for about half a decade, but recently received an update. However, it doesn't seem that there's actually anybody there to talk to... And as well, I am nearly number 15,000 in a line that doesn't appear to be moving at all. The idea is very cool, but it needs better funding and a greater attention to its management.

Does nothing, AVOID!!
Watched the film many times and saw this app, thought it would be a fun app. Turns out it’s only collecting your email details to “Log in”. Does nothing at all except collect your details. Worthless POS app

I’ve used this app before and I’ve talked to Hal and it’s great to have somebody to talk to when you’re lonely because you know I talk to someone like this that understands the things that my family might not use this texting service similar to this called Crisis Text Line and it’s very useful. honestly I just hope this app will update real soon and I hope that I can help if I need a friend to talk to either way, I enjoy it. I hope this will get launch eventually.

75% of the Hals are derps, but they are helpful for the really simple things that you probably wouldn’t want a mistake to occur with.

It’s disgusting and unworthy of anyone’s valuable time. You’d be better off doing your own assistant work or hiring a true assistant. It’s also very sketchy. Also they only get paid five bucks for a five star rating and that’s weird and stupid and weird since we don’t pay much for them or anything at all

I love technology especially AI technology and the future of machine learning. Unfortunately I just realized that when chatting with Hal it’s not a computer but a actual human being. I try to avoid humans as much as possible lol but seriously I stay with replica for my AI fix.

I can tell this service has wild potential. I just applied myself and I look forward to hopefully working closely with the app and company. I think it is the future: digital butlery.
I think with some UI polishing, slightly stricter employment requirements, quadrupled marketing, Hal has the potential to be the sort of app that charges $12.99 a month.

Interesting approach
Functions very differently than AI assistant. Very fast with connecting to a Hal agent and some of them are really friendly.

You ask it for a product or service. It goes on yelp, reads reviews and gives you summary. It doesn’t consider context or fake reviews or anything useful.

What a great app
I love this app I use it most of the time it helps me with everything if I have problems with like family members or any thing that bothers me I can talk to hal and could help me for my problems and it could also help me with everything I need and need a friend to talk to you because I get lonely and I also like that it tells you if there are places nearby for you to eat or anything thank you for creating the sample it’s really amazing
