Die beste HP48-Hommage
Look & feel wie zu Zeiten der wissenschaftlichen Taschenrechner, aber mit besserer Bedienung. Einfach nur genial!
Great SW and great support
Using this app on my iPhone 14pro max is very much like holding an HP28s in my hands. 😍
Had some problems with the german locale and the calculator and it was
a) my fault
b) solved by a nice mail in less than 24 hours

Excellent representation of the real HP28s
It is not easy to emulate the clamshell HP 28s model, starting with the keyboard and following with the algebra CAS commands.
But this app has both tasks good implemented and deserves 5 stars.

Great simulator of a great calculator and a great app
This is truly one of the best. Faithful reproduction of the HP-28S, the first user RPL calculator, that keeps all the good stuff and improves on the not-so-good (the display, for example, is so much better than that on the actual calculator). Stable and well thought out, with a very polished look. The plotting capabilities are pretty amazing. Very responsive developer; helped me immediately with a workaround to a minor problem and released an update within a few days. Allows me to do anything I used to do with my old 28S, and without the creaking plastic clamshell case sound! Highly recommended and worth every penny of the price. Hope to see more from this developer.

Works well with M1 Macs
Using this now in Monterey and it works like a charme. Even the Mac's keyboard is fully supported.
Best Calculator out there
Love how responsive Halcyon Software is to fixing and improving this software. My favorite change on this release is the long or 3D press to get the red shift key.
My 28S still runs perfectly but the battery door is so fragile. I can use Halcyon Calc all the time.

Prima HP-28S Ersatz

Marvellous
I have bought about 6 calculators for ios, looking for a good HP RPN equivalent.
This is the best - its not just an emulator, but has been written from scratch to keep the great original features but improve them too, e.g. graph plotting at native resolution.

Bester Rechner auf IPad und IPhone
Wer mit einem HP 28S gerechnet hat wird mit dieser App sehr zufrieden sein.
It works better than I had hoped!
My HP 28S calculator (the best programmable scientific calculator ever built) is back! Thanks so much! I took a rather complicated engineering program from my 28 (which used some rather esoteric functions), laid it in, and it ran perfectly! Two thumbs WAY up! More if I had them.
Response from developer
Thanks so much for the review and so glad to hear that your programs from back in the day just worked in the app. I strive to reproduce the behaviour of the 28S but sometimes fall short. If you do find something in the future which seems wrong, let me know and I will try to fix it for you. Thanks again for the feedback.
Hp 28
Loved this calculator and also the App. Nur why does the Icon have to be so ugly?
dicht am HP-28S dran
Ich habe einen echten HP-28S und diese APP ist die beste Umsetzung für iPhone und iPad im AppStore. Sehr gut zu bedienender UPN-Rechner mit vielen Funktionen des Originals.
My favorite RPN calculator
I went to college in the late 80's with an HP-28S. I still have the HP calculator, and it still works; and I'd been wanting an RPN calc for the phone that was similar to that one. There are a bunch of HP-12-like apps, but this is the first one I've found that behaves similar to the 28S. Very happy with Halcyon Calc; I've been able to delete all the other RPN calculator apps that I've tried.
