Couch to Ironman
This app has been an integral part of taking a 300lb person who could not jog 0.05 miles to a 200lb tri-athlete who is able to now compete in 1/2 Ironman events. Next is the full Ironman. Thank you for keeping me healthy through this journey by pacing my capacity!!!
Not Good
The app has several glitches. Sometimes it stops working, stops tracking, restarts run, and doesn’t save a run. It can be very frustrating and I’ve given up on it. I’d say steer clear and save yourself some frustration.
Save your money!
Very disappointed with this app! Half the time the beeps and voice don’t work, the other half it skips ahead half way through the run cycle or restarts for no good reason. Can’t use it on Lock Screen because then the notifications don’t work. Tried contacting help and support and they were absolutely no help at all.
FIX YOUR APP!! People are paying good money based on how awesome the 5k and 10K apps are but the 21K is useless!

21km app
Disappointing that it doesn’t count up in 5min increments as the 10km app does
Love it..
Had this suite of Apps for YEARS now and I just keep cycling thru them. Easy progression, you can go back n forth. Connects to watch n it’s just tells you when to run n walk. Simple and effective.
Needs Apple Watch companion app
Would be perfect if it also had an Apple Watch companion app like the 5 and 10K apps do.
This App Saved My Life
I just wish it would save all my runs!
It’s not nearly as good as the 10K
Wish it worked as well as the 10K, should have checked to see its last update before purchasing. Loved the 10K, this one is like a wish version of it.
Terrible
It won’t let me cancel
Perfect app
These apps are simple to use, clear instructions and very effective. Instructions about when to turn round at the halfway point particularly so. I’ve used the 5k and the 10k and now on to 21k. Love them.
Well on my way!!
LOVE this app!! It is keeping me in check with my prep for half marathon and it’s taking me at a pace that is challenging but comfortable at the same time.
When I first started using the app I had to have pauses because my endurance was not the greatest but now I can run at a comfortable pace non stop for 45mins and it’s only been just under 2wks!!

Good for training
I like this app for the training recommendations and cadence of lung runs vs tempo runs. I docked a star as it doesn’t allow you to log partial workouts. If you don’t complete the entire time then it won’t record the run.
Room for improvement
Purchased for $60. The adaptive part is that you tell it to advance you in the preset schedule. I want the helpful 5/10minute notifications the 5 and 10K apps offer. This one only dings once at halfway leaving me clueless when I want to gauge how far I have.
This app doesn’t offer encouragement. It works by time and not distance. If you can’t finish the final distance in the average time for a MAN then you’re left hanging. The app says congratulations even though I hadn’t run the distance.

Skip the 21 km app
I loved their 5 and 10 km apps - got me into running and worked well but unfortunately this app is super glitchy, and no follow-up from their support centre when asked.
Not Fitness22 5k or 10K trainer
I completed the Fitness22 5k and 10K trainers and those two apps were identical as far as I could tell (distances notwithstanding). This 21k trainer app not the same as those 2 apps. The audio sounds different (less crisp, I would say possibly even distorted), the cues options are different (no options for every 5 min. marks), and it doesn’t work on silent mode with your phone as far as I can tell. This app also recommends running-off days to do strength training and gives a couple of examples for workouts and if you have certain other apps of theirs it might sync with it (I don’t have those apps so I can’t confirm).
If this were the 21k version of the 5/10k trainer apps, in my opinion it would be 5-stars.
I haven’t completed this program yet but this far I’m not impressed. Will I continue with the app? Probably.

Apple Watch
This app does not connect to Apple Watch !!!!
Good app but….
I’ve used the 5k and 10K and they were great but they haven’t synced this one with the Apple Watch so you have to carry your phone with you to run which doesn’t work on these longer distances as I’m carrying water etc. and I don’t do a big phone like this with an arm band. They would be 5 stars if you could use your watch. Same as the 10K pacer

Doesn’t consistently save runs, lots of bugs
10K app worked better. I’ve been fighting with this app for the last 4 months, it keeps dropping saved runs and progress. Sound cues seem inconsistent.
Audible cues randomly work
Unlike previous versions of different distance trainers from this developer the audible cues in this version only work randomly. Unfortunately you have to carry your phone in your hand and constantly watch the timer.
Forgets my progress
I like the app for its training plan and badges, but it keeps forgetting my progress and customer support doesn’t get back to me.
