Crashed Game

I’ve played this game and found it great. But I’ve since downloaded and started playing another game and now it won’t open. I just get a black screen and then it closes itself. I’ve paid for the deluxe version. I’ve tried to get onto your website but that won’t load either so I’m not sure what to do to get the problem sorted and talk to someone. I can’t find the game itself on the App Store. The name that comes up below the app on my phone is Rage. It’s the one about werewolves and animages. So I’m posting here in the hopes that someone reaches out to sort the problem.

Fun if it wasn’t so glitchy!

This would be a great game but it is sooooo full of glitches. I click on objects several times and nothing happens. So I click the hint icon and it tells me to do exactly what I’ve been trying to do. Super frustrating. I’m sorry I bought it. I loved the first Halloween Chronicles so thought this would be as good based on the high rating.

Fun game, but…

This was a really fun game and I really enjoyed it. Some of the puzzles were complicated, I admit I got frustrated and skipped a few. It was on tutorial mode and I felt like that didn’t explain much. The most complicated puzzle was the family dinner seating chart, I felt that one could use some improvement. The given details were not enough to complete the task to the desired answer and the check off system made figuring it out complicated. I would place specific people to that spot but it wouldn’t check it off and there wasn’t enough information to understand why. Maybe the list was longer but I couldn’t figure out how to get to it. The piano puzzle was also complicated - I could not understand what the directions wanted and the solution didn’t make sense. Just a warning about the game - you can only play a small amount of locations and then you have to pay almost $7 US to play any further. I didn’t see any mention of this until the game wouldn’t let me play anymore without paying, but I was already hooked. The downside is that I finished the game and bonus story in less than 6 hours. I thought it was a very fun game and will probably play it several more times through. Not sure how long that will be challenging and fun for the price paid. Really wish the game was longer. Some of the story was choppy in bits and didn’t have much explaining in the building up of characters or story/world development. Could probably have a longer game if these were explored more. Final thought - you go throughout the game collecting rings, voodoo dolls and potion ingredients but you can’t do anything with them??? The rings could be used as currency for an end fun blip - to purchase clothes to dress a skeleton, but that has no end purpose and only seemed to have one choice of options. I may have come off as critical, but I really enjoyed this game and saw a few things that could improve it for the better.

Awesome

This is a fabulous puzzle game. It is well written, great story line and wonderful graphics and music. It is very entertaining. The only problem I have with it is you have to buy a subscription to continue the game and that is why it received 4 stars from me and it is uninstalled.

Frustrating

I admit the graphics of this game were beautiful and I did enjoy the premise. This could have easily been one of my favorite HO games. My issue was how hard and frequently I had to tap my iPad screen. Not sensitive enough I guess. Having to constantly hit on my screen made the game go slower as I lost momentum trying to do things. Fix this issue and I’d love to replay.

A new game...

I took the time to start a review....I was just about to add something good...and I find the first part I wrote is missing.....why? You lost a star...bring back what I wrote and you’ll get it back....what the heck???????
I have enjoyed this game immensely, and had made several nice comments...now It’s gone.Can you find it?

Once the sound was fixed this was a very enjoyable game. Loved the puzzles and good storyline!

Just finished the game after fix, I really enjoyed this game the length was long and had customized settings. The story was easy to follow. Thank you for a quick fix.

Glitchy

Quite glitchy. The game didn’t recognise my taps so had to tap several times on objects etc which takes you out of the game mindset. Game seemed hurriedly put together. Disappointed in this game because their other Halloween games are always fun and this one just didn’t live up.

Good but not perfect

I really would like to give this game a five star rating, but because of the extremely poor touch sensitivity I am unable to do so. It was an interesting game otherwise, but having to repeatedly select an area to get a response is extremely annoying and detracts from the overall game experience.

Note to all players: you are all complaining about the sound issue, which I caught immediately and it was fixed in a very timely manner. The only other issue is that the touchscreen sensitivity is lacking and the programmers need to increase the sensitivity of the gameplay interface. Other than that, the game is lengthy, colorful and a real hoot to play. So kindly update your reviews!
Note to lucygirl: gaming can be subjective but Catalina is a very valued member of the DTE, and as such must weigh in on quality assurance issues. She must look at each game objectively instead! She is my Chief Operating Officer and I understand how she feels. The quality assurance issues have been ongoing and we are tired of problems in every single Domini release! So kindly do not attack a member of MY team, who ensure you the best experience possible. You rarely review, anyway, so your comments mean nothing!
Because of our diligent work, DTE, Oleg is adding 200 new staff members next year so that should mean more games. We did what we set out to do. Basically we restored the genre, and once we start getting EIPIX, it will seem like a real genre. So be patient!
My true rating is 4.5 stars. I deducted a star for the poor touchscreen sensitivity. I did not play when there was a sound issue anyway.
