Useless
I receive notifications from the app, tap on them, and am stuck on the same purple loading screen. I am unable to access anything school-related and inevitably just end up logging in using Safari. super frustrating.
A waste
This app has zero usefulness. It still routes you to safari to actually use/view your canvas, I receive no notifications of any kind!
Inconsistent
Some days the app works fine and then it doesn’t for months. I get notifications for graded assignments and announcements but the actual app won’t open. I have to log into my account via safari and it’s just inconvenient. Not to mention the lack of notifications for what really matters (assignment and dq reminders/due dates). GCU has way too many resources and individuals who are great in tech to be allowing this app to plummet. Great idea but not maintained and updated.

It’s not good
This app is outdated and I have so many issues using it. So the only reason I keep it is because I get my notifications of my grades and any messages on my phone. But in order to view my assignments or anything else I have to use a browser.

Stopped working
I used this app for all the beginning of spring semester. It just stopped working, it would just stay on the halo screen. I will still get notifications, but no way to check them.
Stupid App
The whole app just reroutes you back to the web by leaving the app and opening Halo on the browser on your phone. It barely displays your current classes and overall is buggy and confusing. They should have spent more time in Beta to iron out the issues. THIS APP IS BASICALLY UNUSABLE.
Stopped working
This app was great at first. I appreciated knowing when assignments were graded. Out of nowhere the app completely stopped loading and opening. When I click on the app it just stays on the purple Halo Learn screen and the app never loads. I only had the app for about a month when it stopped working.

Sucks
If I could give 0 stars I would. The app does not work🙄all it does is maybe send you an announcement notification and that’s it. The app won’t open itself even when uninstalled reinstalled and updated. For students out of state this is a huge barrier. I went to a local college for an undergrad and their apps were 1000x better. For the tuition cost for GCU I expected a more reliable app than what we got….. please update and fix this!

I like having it on my phone to look at assignments or work on them when I’m not able to on my computer, but I keep having to reinstall the app just for it to work. Otherwise, it only stays on the halo learn purple screen. Please fix the bug.

When the app WORKS it is great for on the go.
I got the app with the intension of using it on the go. The app would load the first few times. Now days whenever I attempt to open the app it WILL NOT LOAD. I get the “Halo Learn” icon and that’s IT! Very disappointed. I will receive notifications from the app but thill not appear on my desktop version. Very very disappointed.

Pretty Useless
What is the point of a Halo Learn app if you can’t actually access your classes from it? Downloaded because the website is pretty much unusable on my phone, only for the app to bring me to a web browser when I try to access my classes. Pretty silly.
