Great concept, execution needs to be better.
Just leaving some honest feedback! Great concept for an app. However, I’ve been denied from every campaign despite being verified and averaging 100k+ per post on Snapchat. I’ve even tried setting my rate at $0 with no luck. I’ve had no trouble receiving brand deals elsewhere, so it might be an overpopulation problem where Halo onboarded too many creators with too few campaigns. It also could be that they prefer literal UGC creators as opposed to creators like me who make more skits/relatable/lifestyle content. As a creator, it’s somewhat frustrating at times, especially since Halo sent me multiple emails telling me to sign up, saying I’m a great fit and that I’ll have tons of success. However, I’m all for anyone trying to help creators make more money! This app itself is great: a good design, UI, clear briefs and description of deliverables and collabs with big brands. It also does not hurt to apply for the campaigns, so I would recommend it for creators, just keep your expectations low about getting accepted to big campaigns. I’m sure as the app grows and has more active campaigns, it’ll work much better for creators!
