About

Halyarde is an offline maritime visual-signal field reference and training studio for sailors, educators, scouts, and signal enthusiasts. SEARCH A SOURCE-PINNED SIGNAL CATALOG Browse 628 two-letter International Code of Signals entries transcribed from the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's Pub. 102. Search by code or meaning, filter by operational category, save favorites, and open each signal's publication page reference. COMPOSE AND DECODE FLAG HOISTS Type a word or short message to build a vertical signal-flag hoist, or switch to Decode and construct one flag by flag. Review the Signal Deck for flag count, breaks, phonetic coverage, priority notes, and a suggested drill. Save or share a rendered hoist image when you choose. TRAIN WHERE RECALL IS WEAKEST Practice signal flags, semaphore, or two-letter code signals. Adaptive sessions prioritize unseen and weaker items, record answer history on device, and surface accuracy, mastered items, and a focused review queue. KEEP A COMPLETE FIELD REFERENCE - Alphabet flags, numeral pennants, and substitute pennants - Semaphore positions for A through Z - ICAO phonetic alphabet - Morse reference with optional sound and haptic feedback - Searchable favorites for rapid field access - Source links and scope notes inside the app Halyarde's core reference and training tools work without an internet connection. There is no account, subscription, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Training progress and favorites stay on your device. Photo-library access is requested only when you choose to save a generated hoist image. Halyarde is for education and reference. For real marine operations, follow current official publications and instructions from the relevant authorities.
