About

Ham Gaming is a friendly collection of bite-sized amateur-radio mini-games — gentle enough for kids and newcomers, with speed drills and depth that scale up for licensed operators. PLAY & LEARN • Phonetic alphabet, Q-codes, Morse code, callsign prefixes, bands, and modes. • Speed drills and Morse pacing that grow with you. • Voice games — speak phonetics and full QSO exchanges; your answers are checked by your device's system speech recognizer. FULL RIG SIMULATOR • Tune a virtual transceiver across 14 bands with a weighted, inertia-coasting VFO knob. • Live spectrum waterfall, S-meter, working RF / AF / RIT controls, and filters. • Press-and-hold PTT to actually talk — stations answer based on what you say. • Play free-form, or pick a mode: Missions, Fox Hunt, QRM Drill, or a Contest run. SATELLITES, ANTENNAS & PHYSICS • Follow a simulated satellite pass by turning and tilting your phone (compass + motion). • Antenna and propagation labs — design a Yagi, sweep a NanoVNA, ride Doppler. MADE FOR EVERYONE • 10 languages with full right-to-left Arabic support. • No account. No ads. No tracking. • Light/dark themes. 73 — de A41UX.

What's New in Ham Gaming

1.1.0

July 13, 2026

Accuracy & polish. • Station locations now match the callsign. In Pile-Up Master and Activator Adventures, the place shown next to each call is worked out from the callsign's real prefix — a US call shows a US state, a Chilean call (CE) shows Chile, an Australian call (VK) shows Australia, and so on. No more impossible city pairings. • Rig Simulator: a station you tune in now calls CQ on the band you're actually on. Before, you could be sitting on 20 meters and hear "CQ ten meters" — the spoken band now always follows your VFO. • Rig Simulator: more variety on the air — extra CQ calls, net check-ins, and band-condition chatter that work across every band. • How to play, on every game. Tap the new (i) in any game's top bar for a short how-to-play and the goal of that game — now in all 10 app languages. Follow That Satellite also shows a quick start-up tip the first time (lay the phone flat, then tilt up toward the horizon to track the pass), with a Don't-show-again option. • New Silent Mode in Settings — mutes the spoken encouragement (the cheers after each answer). The sounds you need to play a game (Morse, station voices, listen-and-identify) keep working. 73 de A41UX
