Ham General
This app and the Ham Technician app are tremendously helpful in learning and drilling questions for the FCC Ham exams. I bought and read several of the study guides to learn the theory, but these apps are why I passed each test with 100% correct answers. Now I need to do the same for Ham Extra, with the app from the same publisher. Can not recommend with any higher praise, get and use this app.

This app was well worth the money. It helped me pass the general exam in just three days of study.
Super useful, minor tweaks are all I can wish for
I loved being able to use this offline, and the review after a practice test, as many times as you wish, is what helped me to pass the General at the same time as my Tech. The only thing I’d like to add would explanations similar to the hamstudy site, and or notes that you can add for your own use, something you can review after you grade the test or select the answer on a flash card. Grey utility though, super fair price, and thanks!

Just passed my General Exam. Now on to the Extra!!!
Gets the job done
The recent fix or update on Dec 2nd 2015 fixed the earlier crash issues. Thanks. All around a good app at a low price. I'd give 5 stars if it would keep better track of past exams and wrong answers but it does allow you to study weakness areas and by topic.

Crashes immediately upon startup. Both iPhone and iPad. Still trying for a response, CQ CQ CQ????

Will not allow me to see what questions I got wrong or right. Or not in a simple way that I have discovered.
Good but lags
Nice functionality at a nice low price (about half the others and a quarter or some). I am rating 3 of 5 because the app lags or locks up rather frequently while using it and will not register taps for several seconds. I hope the dev will update and fix and I'd be glad to up the star count. 73s.

Best app for your ham tests
Best software to pass your exam the first time and it's cheap. I used the general exam app and passed my test only missing one question. I highly recommend this app and all other apps from this programmer. I will be studying for my extra and I have 100% confidence I will pass it with these series of apps.

Passed tech & general based on this app
With no background in anything radio, I installed this and the matching technician app a few days before an exam session and passed both the tech and general exams on my first attempt. Good app. Based off trying all the free tech ones, this format / design pattern was best. Thinking about going for Extra class now.....

Passed the General with this App
While not my only study tool, this app definitely helped.
No immediate feedback
There are many good things about this app that you could study by topic It's nicely laid out and have some options. However the one big thing it's missing for me is it does not have immediate feedback to tell you if you got a question wrong or right. You need to go through the whole test and since sometimes I sit down and study and only do five or six questions at a time it's not useful to get my results back later.
Also it would be great if there was a way only to review the questions you've gotten wrong in the past and keep on reviewing them to you get them right.
For me I like the app however there is another one out there that gives you immediate feedback and that is more useful to me.

Good app
This app is as good or better than any other out there. The one thing it is missing for me is the ability to hide a question. I know it has adaptive tech that allows you to study by weakness but I would like to have more control. Don't show this question again checkbox would rock.
None of the apps give explanations. If you want that get the Gordon West book. These apps are intended to help you pass the exam and the do a good job at that.

Excellent test prep
Excellent means of preparing for your exam. Used the tech (free) one first and this one is just the same. The best way to use it seems to be to take several exams to build statistical data and then work the problems sorted by difficulty. Repeat the process a few times over several days or weeks. I passed with a 34/35 after using this app and some study guide PDFs that are freely available online. Well worth the purchase price. I'll be using this same brand again when I go for my extra.

Tech & General - 1 Week!
Thanks so much for this great app! I foolishly let my license expire some 30 years ago. Retired now and wanted to jump back in but a lot has changed since my last time on the air in 1979. Worked hard with this app and the free TechGeneral over the past week and--drum roll--passed both exams yesterday missing only one question on each. Could not have done it without the three testing functions of this app and the ease of use. Thank you so much!

Would be awesome if..
For me, it's only missing one thing. A review that already shows the correct answer. I like the pick an answer and it quickly shows you if you got it right, but when you are doing a quick study, especially when it's your first time with the question, it would be nice if the correct answer was just highlighted. The interface is smooth and good.
