No nonsense app! Helped me pass the General with about a week of study. It is very well developed and easy to use and has a lot of cool features to help you remaster the subjects you may be struggling with!

Great Tool
A year ago I took the tech and general test passing both together and I give these apps credit for that. This is a tool that you want in your arsenal.

I passed my general exam today. I used this app from beginning to end for the practice tests and an audio book and the book for studying. Now I’m starting the extra class. Same app. Same process. And I’m hoping for the same results.
Crashes when using practice test
The app crashes whenever I try to start a practice test. The study correct answers feature works, just the practice test crashes it. I’m using an iPhone 13 pro.
Absolutely excellent study aid.
This is a no brained download if you’re trying to get a general license. Very well done. The only thing I wish was different is that in the recommended questions area, selecting the question does nothing. It would be very helpful to have it open up the question instead of having to navigate back and open up the question elsewhere. Great job though - this would be a solid BUY if it was a paid app!

Great test prep app
Used this to prep for my General, then his other app for Extra. Within a week I was ready for my tests. Passed General with 100%, missed one on Extra. Very helpful for reviewing test questions along with taking sample tests. Doesn’t provide subject matter, just test questions and answers. Used hamtestonline for study guide and bought the test prep books for reference materials. Small investment for such a great benefit.

Used this as my primary source to pass general
Disappointed in feature removal
The previous app was far more user friendly because it gave IMMEDIATE FEEDBACK by coloring the selected answer in red or green.
There is only one item in Settings - clear database of user data.
Please include a second setting where the user can select immediate feedback if that is there preference.
Making this modification or restoring the previous behavior and I will gladly rate this again as five stars.

Excellent resource
I enjoyed the different ways to practice the questions were offered. Studying vs testing. I also liked that I could easily see the entire testing pool and study for specific areas/sections. The only struggle was some of the schematics loaded extremely small so it was difficult to see the corresponding answer.

I passed my exam on the first try. The questions are not all intuitive, so having this to study was immensely helpful.

This app works well and was very beneficial in helping me pass my exam! I liked the ability to view all the questions in the pool with the correct answers.
Suggestions for improvement:
Would like to have the ability to select an answer and submit with two separate actions to prevent accidentally touching an undesired answer, or to review all of your answers before submitting, as you have with the real, paper exam.
Would like the option to see the the questions in the pool along with the correct answers *without* seeing any of the incorrect answers to focus on and memorize the correct answers and avoid getting the incorrect ones into your head.

Great app with a fatal flaw
TL,DR: Please fix sample test question randomizing algorithm!!
This app (the Tech, and assuming Extra versions) are so close to being perfect. It is simple and only does what you need!
The flaw: the algorithm used to pick questions for Sample Tests disproportionately picks some questions over others. This must be addressed, as many will be unknowingly prepared for the test. This makes a nearly perfect app useless if it can’t perform it’s most important function (yet should be fundamentally easy to fix).
For example during studying for TE, I was consistently getting >93% over many-many practice tests. When I took the official test, close to 2/3 of the questions never/rarely showed up in my practice tests. I luckily passed with 77%. This left me feeling strangle unprepared.
Now studying for General, I got this app. But this time I have been more aware and again noticing that some questions show up almost every time in the practice test. To counter this, I started taking tests on HamStudy.org. Sure enough, I am seeing many questions I haven’t seen on this app.
