Might be ok for kids
I tried the app because I saw an "explain" button, but it just shows the correct answer. Need for achievements might appeal to a younger audience, but it slows down the learning process.

This app is pretty bad. First, there is nothing free about it. It is a sample program that only provides 10 or so questions. Then, there is an explanation button that only restates the answer to the question. Don't waste your time.

On iPad you have to slide answer section up and down to see all choices. Explanation does nothing more than restate the answer. No clear way to drop back to menu without killing app. Pretty disappointed with this app, especially for the price and the fact you can get the same questions online at ARRL
